The mental gymnastics that's some Saints fan go through to justify the failures of this team is embarrassing.

We need to stop pretending like this is the same team and organization from just a few years ago. We had a SB winning coach and a HOF QB that gave the team a certain level of respectability.

Not going to stick my head in the dirt and pretend like the team has no problems and that those problems are likely causing some candidates to pass on us. No matter how you spin it, not a good look for all the top candidates to pass you by and even some of the low level are telling you No thanks.

Kinda reminds me of back right before Benson bought it.

I'll go one step further...I hope MM takes a pass and we ride with Rizzi at this point. Guy has fire and passion and the players want him. Rizzi is a little too over the top for my tastes but I'd rather have that than DA version 2.0

I do believe Rizzi will be our best chance to get Loomis out of here within the next three years!

If MM pulls his name out of it then Mrs B should can Loomis now and promote an interim GM and move forward with Rizzi as she rights the ship.

I agree. I don’t think Loomis has a lot of wiggle room. This next coach will have about 3-4 years to make us post season competitive and Loomis who very well may take a walk with his 3rd head coach selection if not.

After the disaster that was Dennis Allen, I don’t believe .500 average every season is enough to secure a 4th chance.
