Halfway through the ninth book and will be sad when there are no more.

It would be great to have three more seasons, but the actors would need to age 30 years. Maybe they are just waiting a bit?

The ostensible reason for the time jump is to have the advancement of Laconia more believable
The characters aren’t aging thatthat much bc medicine keeps healing them
I think you could hand wave a 10-15 year time jump and it’s believable enough
(Especially since the tv series kind of ya da dad Drummer being president of Transport Union)

So I'm guessing it's like this in the books but I have 2 issues. One is that they can regrow limbs but they don't have inertial dampeners? And then they have fully interactive holographic displays but no shields? Give me a break. Show is still good though, I just don't think it's the greatest. I didn't have any issue with the acting, thought it was fine. The way Alex died was stupid and I don't care if it was realistic or not, still didn't like it. I'd be fine with more seasons but won't be upset if this is the end. I won't be watching it again.

That he died of a stroke and it happened out of no where. If he was going to die out of no where I'd rather a micro meteor went through his skull.

They had set up time and again how high g burns are risky - this paid off all of that buildup

Also did you know they had to dump that actor late in the game?

They had to come up with something quickly as he was written out for allegations of sexual harassment. That’s what I read way back….

I know that they said it could do that but you aren't expecting it and I still would prefer a different type of death over a stroke from high speeds. While reading this thread I did hear about the actor so that part makes sense.
