famous ppl should know by now to not voice their opinions. cancel culture will get you these days. dont know how they arent smart enough to just stay quiet and make their money.

No one cares if you voice your opinions. Pushing baseless conspiracies, being racially insensitive, dismissive of minorities, and then comparing yourself to people who were the victims of literal genocide because people don't like those opinions, on the other hand....that will probably get you rightfully fired.

Or in other words, don't have garbage opinions and there won't be an issue.

like my post said, just dont post your opinions if your famous cause cancel culture gets you these days.

Also making fun of the trans movement when the star of your show has a trans sister is probably not the smartest move.

But that's not what he's saying, or what it should be. Cancel culture won't get you if you don't post crap on social media. There are limits to what you can/should say. Companies have always been able to fire their employees for stuff they do off the job.

So you still can post what you think, but there are limits to that.

exactly what i said in 2 posts.

stay off social media if you're famous and dont want to possibly lose your job over a post.

She's cut from a similar cloth. Has pushed crisis actor conspiracies with school shootings among other things. Has also advocated some fringe extremist right wing stuff, but had kept it a bit more ambiguous than Carano did. All this conspiracy stuff is massive in MMA and wrestling circles for whatever reason.
knees to the head cures liberalism

Lmao, no, you don't have to stay off social media entirely, that's the point you're missing, apparently.
never said entirely. just said dont post your opinions due to cancel culture  everyone will always be wrong to someone. and this new cancel culture we have seems to be winning and ruining people that just dont agree with them or dont fit their agendas, not just referring to this actress obviously.

if you post your opinion on social media. just be prepared for backlash, if they just dont post it then one knows so they'd all keep their jobs, its pretty simple. interviews and social media should be like lynch's old interviews "next question" "i'm just here so i dont get fined" :smilielol:

yes, you've restated your same position many times - people just don't agree with your premise
if you want to prove your point maybe provide examples of unfair canceling

Two things can be true:

1. Carano tweeted stupid sheet
2. Who tf cares what a supporting character on a show is tweeting in their spare time.

I can't fathom being the kind of person who cares enough about something someone tweets enough to call for termination of their employment. I'll also never understand why corporations think Twitter trends and hashtags like #FireGinaCarano are at all significant. You are Disney, a few thousand people on Twitter can't hurt you in any significant way and there are probably waaayyy more fans who like her character and think firing her for tweets is stupid.

Twitterverse has been after her for almost two years now and she failed to adhere to her boss's warnings. To blame her firing on anything other than her own actions is weak and lazy because her employers have been having conversations with her regarding her social media. I liked Carano in this role, but if you have ever Googled her name, she would appear in your news feed and for the past year plus she has been pushing her employer's to the limit with her social media activity.

Indeed. She had plenty of warnings and didn't change anything. This is entirely on her.
