I suggest you go pull up some of Rousey's stuff when she was there. That hair is much thicker than you think.

You are Disney, a few thousand people on Twitter can't hurt you in any significant way and there are probably waaayyy more fans who like her character and think firing her for tweets is stupid.

Yes, but you are also Disney, named after Walt Disney, a man of Jewish descent, and your current CEO is of Jewish descent, so probably disparaging the Shoa is not a good career move. You are also Disney, a corporation that has a very specific corporate culture and image, and part of the deal that includes paying you mega Disney bucks is to act like Disney wants you to act.

I don't watch WWE, but I've seen her in a couple movies, and she definitely can deliver lines better than Carano. No by much, but still...

I feel I've seen enough of both to say you are wrong. I'm not even saying Carano is a great actress. I'm just trying to say Ronda is far, far worse.

Two things can be true:

1. Carano tweeted stupid sheet
2. Who tf cares what a supporting character on a show is tweeting in their spare time.

I can't fathom being the kind of person who cares enough about something someone tweets enough to call for termination of their employment. I'll also never understand why corporations think Twitter trends and hashtags like #FireGinaCarano are at all significant. I don't know you, but generally the people who don't care are the ones that don't have any reason to care -- they aren't in the minority, whether it be racial, sexual, etc. I can say who cares when x says that because it has absolutely no effect on me. But that could be because i'm a white man. I think people should try to take a step back, try to gain some perspective, and see that while it may not effect you and you may not care, others may care and have every reason and right to care. I'm not always good at that, but i at least try (or like to tell myself i do in any event).

Why are we debating acting chops? She's gone and it's highly unlikely Rousey is going to be hired.
