What a fantastic episode!
Grogu in IG12 absolute gold. Laughed my head off. "This isn't working for me" for Din, but it's working for me! Awesome sauce.

Nice long episode full of one great scene after another and what a wild climax.
The dinosaur thing wrecking their ship was kind of superfluous, but cool f/x.
The battle on Mandalore. Moff Pollo Gideon's reveal.
Wasn't expecting Paz to sacrifice himself, and I'm a little disappointed he didn't actually take out the one Imperial Guard, but maybe that was expecting a little too much. He wreaked serious havoc on Gideon's forces.

I hope the finale will be a long episode as well. I expect we'll have a great space battle and another ground battle going consecutively. Wondering if they'll be able to get word to the Mandalorian fleet before the Imperials show up or not. Either way, big space battle is certain.

That was just a great episode! Best one yet. The show just continues to ramp up every week. Crazy good!

Also, obviously, we know now it wasn't Mandalorians who took Gideon from the prison shuttle. It was his own storm troopers in their beskar armour.

Good episode, but I still find this to be the worst season so far. It's not even his show anymore, he's just a mandalorian whereas THE mandalorian is Bo Katan.

Maybe it's just payback karma for him hijacking Bobb Fett's show. :hihi:

Personally, I find this the best season so far, but I'm fully enjoying the expansion of characters. And the action sequences have become more sophisticated each season.

Wow! Amazing course correction after last week's....whatever.

Seeing Pellaeon in live action made my old Zahn trilogy loving heart happy. This also sort of confirms that we'll probably get a loose adaptation of "Heir to the Empire" in Ahsoka.

They're clearly setting up multiple threads to fill in the blanks the sequel trilogy left. Hux's father on the Imperial Warlord Shadow Council, Project Necromancer, the Praetorian Guards, etc.

Loved those wasteland Mandos. They were very cool.

RIP to my boy Paz Viszla. Went out like a champ.

Calling it now: The Armorer is in league with Gideon. She was responsible for getting both groups of Mandalorians back to Mandalore despite their differences. She has the same horns on her helmet Gideon had on his. She bounced immediately before they went to the great forge, which she had previously made a big deal about. She served them up to him then skipped town.

Prediction: Thrawn is going to get wind of Gideon's badmouthing him and show up to... re-establish the chain of command, shall we say.

Yeah when I’ve of my kids was looking me ‘why was this called ‘spies’’ my head clicked’ARMORER!!!!!’

Can’t remember what happened with Sabine Wren’s mom, but I might go back and check those episodes of Rebels before next week

Oh and @tenordas I think Axe got out before they got trapped so he’ll be able to warn the fleet

Hmm. The Armorer is not a bad theory. After all, SOMEONE had to forge all that beskar armor for Gideon and his minions. Who else has the skills besides the Armorer?
The only fly in that ointment is why would she betray her people for Gideon and the leftover Imperial fleet?
You may be correct, though.

I also see all that set up from the Thrawn books. Wondering how much their going to use of it. Maybe they'll be using the elements of the "history of Thrawn" trilogy to set up the Heir to Empire trilogy (yes, still hanging on desperately for some kind of hope - hey, I want to see Mara Jade and Taalon Karrde on screen!)

Wow, what an episode. Seeing so many Mandos on screen at the same time was amazing, as was seeing their fleet.
Baby Yoda is now a Mechwarrior. The 'Yes, yes, yes, yes, etc.' had me ROLLING. He needs more voice controls than just yes/no though.
Pour our a 40 for Paz, dude went out like a hoss.
I can see how the Armorer may be the 'spy', but I really hope some of the fleet survives the impending attack since the Mandos on the ground have no comms w/ them.
I'm enjoying seeing the tie in w/ Thrawn right after the Ahsoka teaser dropped, it's like SW is starting to tie some different franchises together nicely.
I REALLY want to see Bo Katan drive that Darksaber into Gideon and slice him in half.
My only tiny thing is, they're 'sailing' their Mad Max land boat towards The Forge, they see the ground start to break up in the distance where the giant monster was emerging from with plenty of distance to stop w/o getting the land boat destroyed, yet they kept going?

And the Armorer was the one telling everyone that Mandalore was poisoned and that they couldn't go back. Ok, not all the Mandalorians went to Mandalore, right? Some stayed behind? I'm thinking one of them is also a suspect. I know everything points to the Armorer, just hoping it's not her.
Pelleaon was my second favorite character after Thrawn, glad to see he wasn't left out of the Thrawn segment.
So, the only person in this little set up that we know for certain makes it out of the series alive is Cmdt Hux, right? Assuming he's the same as Gen Hux in 7-9.
I'm not liking this theme where I get to liking a character and they immediately kill them off. RIP Paz.
By the way, Grogu speaks! He said NO, then YES, then NO, then Yes like a million damn times.

AND steered directly into the thing instead of trying to veer away. That was the moment that made no sense. It came across as a "deus ex machina" moment where Filoni and Favreau decided the Mandalorians needed to not have the boat for a quick escape. The one bad mark on the episode for me.
