This was Carr/offense’s best game and their turning point (1 Viewer)

38 points from all offensive scoring. Everything was clicking and going the offense’s way today. This is the explosive offense that we expected to see coming out of TC.

We finally see why Carr was paid 37M per year. 70.4%, 310 yards and 2 TDs. Big hookups to Thomas. 2 deep completions to Shaheed, one was a TD. He didn’t have trouble going through progressions and hit the open man at ease. Carr could’ve had a bigger day if not for a couple drops by Olave.

Blocking was great in run and pass protection. Offense was 3-3 in the redzone. Taysom did Taysom things. Carmichael’s playcalling was consistently good all game.

This team can easily take this division if they stay consistent like today’s performance going forward.
Amazing how well our Oline has been playing. Had it not, we wouldn't have had any deep shots among other runs and passes

This is it guys!! This is our year!! I am telling you, I can feel it!! We are really gonna win the divi...

I am starting to believe someone on the offense has a tell. a lot of times AK runs the ball he is hit almost as soon as he gets the hand off.
I just said this today. No way Everytime we go to run the ball with Kamara he is hit in the backfield or no where to run

If you beat anyone in the NFL it's a big deal. To win on the road by 11 in the NFL is even bigger. We saw some good things today. Most importantly, it was clear that the vets kept control of the locker room during the time off. The team didn't pack it in and it could have easily gone that way.

There is still a lot to clean up and there is more meat on the bone if we can turn the corner. We are 3-1 on the road this year. We need to learn to consistently at home now.

The Colts aren't very good
Beating bad teams is progress, but all the "this is a turning point" or "we are peaking at the right time" talk is a little too soon. We beat a really bad Colts team w/ back up QB (Uncle Rico.) The sad truth is if we beat only, all the bad teams we have left on the schedule. We would win the division.

If we would have lost, Carmichael's play calling would have been awful.

I've seen Carr make several good plays in a row before, but suddenly go into a mini-slump of wild throws, wrong page, fumbles, and sacks from holding the ball too long.

So I'm not going to set myself up for a big disappointment, but just wish him the best.

Now let’s see if they can do it two or three games in a row.
While I do hope 🤞 this was a turning point, the last time we had a really good offensive showing we lost the last two in a row.

Carr & the O-line looked a lot better. I do like how he fed MT. MT and AK are the engine that runs this team. Olave and Shaheed are the turbo’s and Williams in the 4 wheel drive, all did well today.

They actually looked like they were having fun again like the first two games.

I'll agree best offensive output to date. Efficient, play calling was MUCH better.

I'd love @Rouxble do plays from this game vs first 7 to see differences. ( if any because it sure felt like it )

Not sold on "turning point" just yet. Let's see what next week at home looks like.
Looking forward to going over the all 22, got spoiled by the Thursday night game because the Prime Vision (or whatever they call it) is practically the sideline all 22 so I could look at it immediately.

One random play caught my eye as I’m watching the condensed replay, it was a 3rd and 3 completion to JJ for the first. It was the exact same play we ran on 3rd and 1 against the Bucs that no one loved because Carr went deep to Shaheed, except this time Carr went to his progression instead of the alert and picked up the first.

If we can protect Carr and Carr can trust and throw the concepts, I like the direction we’ll be heading in.

It may just be personnel groupings. This system has always had them. I think we still have very good players on offense but the tendencies for personnel groupings for certain play types tilt the scales against the offense at times.

They got back to running MT on slant plays, they attacked the middle of the field, Kamara has his option routes out of the back field again and we used Olave and Shaheed in the deep passing game.

Everybody got used to their strength and the offense looked explosive because of it.
