TIL that our #50, Khalen Saunders who picked off Mahomes, has a brother who is ……. A backup dancer for Taylor Swift.. that’s a true story .



ETA : I want to apologize to everyone, sincerely.. i was watching the ManningCast (#humblebrag) and did not realize that they had announced this factoid about Saunders during the regular broadcast.. i thought that it was new information.. again, i am sorry .

cmon, most of us have either a wife or a daughter who is a Swifty and knew this all week .

well, i did say wife or daughter..

i could probably name a few, but that's it (i may have heard way more songs, i just couldn't tell you the names).. I'm not one of those who is too cool to admit it.
and i will admit that i couldn't name 5 country songs from the last 10 years or so . that would be my humble brag . lol
and I'd rather listen to Swift all day than listen to 1 country song .

On that we can agree.. country music in 2024 is nothing but a bunch of 40 yr old guys singing about high school parties.. i prefer to live life in the windshield, not in the rearview mirror .


Also im not too cool to admit anything.. just see my post history over the past almost 20 years here regarding acts like the Carpenters and Neil Diamond…….. and while i dont know Swift’s music , i do like Olivia Rodrigo and im definitely not in her target demographic lol .

My 12-year old daughter listens to Y2Country on Sirius XM. It is an unlistenable stream of garbage. Poor lyrics, poor musicianship, and god-awful exaggerated accents that make the songs even more hokey than they are.

TIL; It's probably gonna be a looong year for the Saints.

Doesn’t Nick at Night show mostly dreck like King of Queens and Everybody Loves Raymond ? I think the last time Nick at Night showed anything good was in like ‘96 .


Yeah, i do like retro tv/movies & music, but i think it’s healthy to occasionally take a glance at the past, not to live there.. i feel like most of the current country “artists” pine for the ‘good ol days’ and their songs are about peaking in high school and *living* in the past .

Not making any claims. Just that I learned today that it was a thing. Since San Diego has been so cloudy/foggyevery day and night, the conspiracy theories are being touted and someone said that they government was cloud seeding causing the fog. I was like WTH is that? Then went down the rabbit hole.

and they are also saying they are using it to control the hurricanes to hit certain areas.. those people are crazy and will literally believe anything . has the govt experimented with weather related stuff? of course.. but these wackos are really pushing the crazy right now..
didn't mean to suggest you were one of those .
