TIL: Today I Learned... (2 Viewers)

Old Bay is the shiznet. You can take your Tony Cachere and shove it.
I had a spinach, mushroom and pepperoni Chicago style pizza today. It needed something. I tried salt. That wasn't it. Then I put Tony's on it and It was magnificent.

We have at least 2 Tony's here cos my husband is afraid of running out, I guess. I never use it so I dunno how that could happen. I'd put Old Bay on a lot but not pizza. The spinach mushroom sounds awesome!

Old Bay is decent on seafood. I don't like it with anything else. Too much celery...

I'm more of a crushed red pepper guy, but Tony's on pizza isn't half bad. I've tried it and the only issue is a little too much salt. I don't use a lot of salt on my food.

I'm with Marsha tho...onion rings ftw!

Interesting, did not know this. I haven't seen that here tho. Just the original stuff.

I just use cayenne pepper for the no salt version, lol.
It's good but I find it a bit lacking. Probably one of those mental things where I'm subconsciously addicted to the original and can't deal with the difference. Salt is not too bad tho if you only have it occasionally. The body can handle it so long as you don't keep it constantly on full blast.

So I get the small bottle and splurge every once in a while.

Cayenne is not my spice of choice tho. Some times it's great. Others, meh... Can't figure it out.

Have any of you guys tried fish monger seasoning? I started out using it on....you guessed it ...fish but have since branches out and use it on all kinds of stuff now. Also turned several of my friends onto it. Pretty solid seasoning. Herby type seasoning vs spice bit cayenne fixes that.
