Trevor Penning is PFF’s top graded Saint; Penning is highest graded NFL OT in Week 10 (5 Viewers)

Now, if we draft Campbell and he's the best LT then that let's us move Fuaga to G. LSU had 2 LTs and one plays RT b/c Campbell is the best in the country.

Please god no....Campbell has regressed and honestly I think JD made the entire LSU oline look better than it actually was last year.....

Campbell may not have played himself out of the 1st round but I believe he is no longer a top 10 pick, I certainly wouldn't draft an OT that has regressed his last year.....

That's the Nuss effect. He'll be the top OT off the board when it comes draft time.

Nussmeier holds the ball and doesn't even scramble... he just folds up and takes the sack. Which is better than just chucking it i guess.

Underhill isn't high on him and feel he's being overhyped. I think in a vacuum Penning had a great game, best of his career and PFF confirmed that. Zooming out however sees a player ranked as a bottom 50 T, #55 to be exact. Still, to achieve that type of game after where he's come from is a great thing and could a signal an upward trend...or it could not.

Best case scenario is he continues to improve in such a way that it takes RT off the board as a needed upgrade during the off-season.

TP is already one of the better run blocking OTs in the league. Everyone on here knows my staunch defense of TP. I will go on record saying that Penning will be playing at a pro-bowl level by the end of next season if he stays healthy. If Fuaga can make some progress in pass-pro we are good at OT for quite a few yrs. All we have to do is upgrade @ LG and we could have one of the better OLs in the league. A far cry from everyone saying how OL was a weak area of the team

When it comes to matters involving Trevor Penning, I will never doubt you again.

Penning to the 2025 Pro Bowl it is.

Maybe, teams reach for players all the time, especially lineman.....based on his performance this season I wouldn't touch him in the 1st round.....

I guess to be fair, we'll have to see how he does in the combine and such....

The Nuss effect? He deserves criticism no doubt but the LSU coaching staff has put way too much on his shoulders, because the offensive line can't consistently run (or pass) block and the play calling is abysmal.....This is exactly what LSU would have looked like last year without the best player in the country at QB.....

Thank forking god i dont have to deal with spam bot anymore... he went from "you cant admit you were wrong".. oh sheet you proved me wrong so now im going to hide from you. Thank you.

Just ignore him.

Do we have the PFF grades from today's game yet?
prob won’t be released till tomorrow. He appeared too come back to earth this week.

Ironically that’s been his MO since TC. Nice game or practice and then a step back the next time you see him. And yet his trajectory has been an uptrend the entire time from where he started to now.
