Well, that was better tonight. Still a bit expositional, but solid enough watch.
The Daryl prison stuff is tired, but at least added to the story.

Funny, I feel completely opposite to you on the last 2 epis as I thought this one was S L O W. Finally an all-Daryl episode and I'm just rolling my eyes at.all.the.talking by the leader of whoever these people are. I was only invested in Dog.

I did like the scene where Fonzie jumped the shark, though.

I thought last nights episode was a good watch. Sort of a throwback, enjoyed seeing Aaron quite a bit and going back to Hilltop one last time. Liked how they bounced between the 3 to 4 different stories going on instead of a dedicated bottle ep.

Yeah I don't exactly disagree...this group is obv far more trained, and has some religious basis. Still it is sorta tiresome, beyond his eventual having to betray his love interest for the good of his family...that should be interesting, at least.

I know...right from the Aaron dream scene into an over-run Jerry house...at least he spotted the breach, sacrificing his clean underwear...he was close to going 'near dark' but they stayed true to his character...

Wow, that was a freaky episode! Very good stuff this last week imo.

I like how they are bouncing around and keeping the story moving with many different characters. Though it sure feels like Daryl is headed towards some trouble...

Maybe I'm not trying hard enough; but all I can think about when watching clean people in business clothes talking on landline phones all of a sudden is, Gee, next week they'll have internet and smartphones.

Yea, i didn't even realize it was the midseason finale.

I do feel like this was the best episode we've had in a couple of years at least.

From what i understand is S11 is 24 episodes over a 2 year span, so i would expect it to be broken into 3 parts. So i assume it'll be 11a, 11b, and 11c. So its more like the 1st trimester finale...

I blame Lost for this. They were the first show I remember doing these Mid Season breaks.

Why can’t they just air it like it used to be. Just dragging it out gets annoying. By the time the next part of the season comes out I forget what happened already.

its either a break in the series or randomly insert reruns every so often to stretch it out, whic is what networks used to do. I prefer the break.
