Overall I thought it was a really good Part A finale. I like how they ditched the bottle episodes and bounce from all story lines and keep it moving.
Feels like Daryl is gonna have to kill his ex...eventually

Side note: TWD World Beyond has become a bit more watchable...I like how they are handling the 'science' behind trying to find ways to combat re-animation of the dead and the CRMs resources.
 
I don't know how they are going to tie up all the story lines in just 2 more segments of 8 episodes each.
 
I don't know if anyone watches World Beyond, but in the post credit scenes, there is a scene where somone is playing an old video of the guy from the CDC (in season 1) talking about a new vatiant in france that they hadn't seen in the US, Variant cohorts. Someone kills the french woman watching the video, she turns pretty qickly, but instead of being a normal Walking Dead walker, she turns more into a '28 days later' zombie. running fast to the door and trying to get it open...

This opens the door for maybe a European spin off that a little different.. They talk about teams and causing it and making it worse.

YES! That was a really cool button scene, prob the only real accomplishment of this spin-off show, really. But it was really cool that they tied in S1 Dr Jenner, and I even remembered that he claimed France had made the most strides in figuring out the virus...the scene seems to insinuate that they actually caused it--and perhaps have now made it worse.
 
Great Episode.. Negan enjoyed watching Maggie do what she did..

Yeah that was a great episode, good balance of everything.
Father Gabe turning into an absolute bad arse is something I could have never seen coming and is one of my favorite arcs in the entire show. I love how they immediately jumped into the final story line and look generally poised to keep their foot mashed on the gas now.

I am a week ahead of the reguar broadcast, AMC+ airs them early, so the spoiler below may be a true spoiler if you aren't watching the advanced broadcasts.
They are in the Common Wealth, but you can tell Carol and Judith are colecting Intel. I can't get a read on Daryl. On one hand, he's a joiner in a no way out situation at survive like the claimed group and the Reapers, but this one seems different. I can't tell if he's decided he'd rather be in a place where he doesn't have worry about looking over his shoulder 24/7 or if he's just casing the joint in case things go bad and an iside person is needed.
I also liked Ezickiel running the "Zoo" and Jerry's Tiger Halloween Costume..
 
Solid one this week, but more of a set-up/posturing episode...which I get that you obv need when introducing a new place that is so different, and newer characters. I like the time jumps.
 
Crazy how the first 8 seasons had no real time jump. The first 8 seasons took place over like 2 years. Now time jumps are the norm.
