Wish they would save this stuff for after the finale. We’re now at 5 characters (if you count Rick) we know have plot armor though the end.

Was another development episode this week, but again, likely necessary for the story.

This week saw another time jump--30 days.
Max, the real Stephanie, is Mercers sister...interesting

Carol is gonna make herself indispensable to Hornsby, which will be crucial at some point

Also regarding another additional spin-off...
I like it, with a cast this size and with as many interesting characters it might be a better way to tell stories and further the overall impact to this universe? IF done right.
But make no mistake, it is all about $$$ too (duh). From what I am understanding, the deal they cut with Netflix is all about a certain length of streaming rights to the main property--for as long as it runs. But stopping the OG series and branching out, AMC controls the future streaming rights etc.

I prefer spinoffs than continue one story too long. I love TWD, but being introduced to Commonwealth and CRM, makes the small Alexandria story weak. And if you continue with CRM and CW strory lines, it becomes a soap opera sprinkled with a few zombies..
I like that the Daryl and Carol spinoff will go back to the 'on the road' type of story, and i assume the Maggie and Negan show will be similar..

its still not letting me watch episode 10 from 2/20, episode 11 from 2/27, or episode 12 from 3/6.

just let me watch episode 9 from 2/13 and then says i need amc+. this was on roku AMC app.

Just a meh episode for me. I know they are following the comic book theme, but hard to do with the 2 main characters are not involved.

I knew Negan wouldn't be gone long

I get Maggie's hesitancy, but at this point, i'm like screw all this walker stuff and fending off attack after attack. give me some walls and some soldiers. I want Ice Cream and Electicity. So what, they are probably a dictatorship, but i'd welcome that at this point after 10 years.. Much better than what the Gov and Negan had going on...

Yeah definitely another meh type episode for me too. I get the need to set up some story/stakes but it is just getting a bit too slow. Still somewhat enjoyable but so deliberate. Sort of the issue these days when going 1 show a week in a streaming world.

I also don't really get how the Commonwealth could be 50K+ strong and not have been identified by the CRM? Esp when they were doing an awful lot of traveling on choppers to Omaha and the upper West Coast...but yeah, I suppose it is just a show and all.

I think Maggie's moves are very defensible and calculated.

Whos to say the CRM isn't aware of the Commonwealth? The Commonwealth doesn't seem to have Helicopters and Military type vehicles like the CRM, so they may know little about the CRM. If the CRM is aware of Alexandria, they have to be aware of the Commonwealth. I have a suspicion that this will be the plot of the Rick Grimes movies.
I have no doubt that The Alexandians will eventually ovetthrow Pam Milton and get rid of her class structure. Then enters the CRM and Rick Grimes...
