I like that, but that YAK probably flies too fast for the drones, and it sends back way too much radar signature to anti-air missiles.

They have a much better aircraft to use for that. It's the U-2 biplane. I think they still make them in Russia or Ukraine. There would still be some of them around. They make great crop dusting aircraft.

They would be almost invisible to radar if they were to replace the cables of the control lines, and the bracing in the wings with non-metallic carbon fiber cords. There's very little metal in them since they are fabric covered.
