Ukraine (7 Viewers)

Jake Broe has been killing it lately. Not gonna post the link here because it gets a bit political for a bit towards the end. Go to YT and watch it.

:9: I've been subscribed to his podcast for quite a while now, and it has become my go-to podcast for news on the war in Ukraine. And yes, his political positions can be obvious. I hadn't really seen him go into politics very often until recently, and mostly surrounding the issue of allowing Ukraine to strike deeper into Russia. However, in the video he did today around the 24-minute mark, he lets you know in no uncertain terms which side he's on. :hihi:

I hadn't really thought of it until you mentioned it above, so although linking to videos where he gets partisan is not a good idea, he puts out good information otherwise, so I don't see linking to his channel within this thread as a problem.

He had been pretty even handed until Congress delayed funding last year. He was even willing to give them some slack and thought they would pass it during the holidays when less people were paying attention and there would be less political fallout.

But when it went into the new year and aid still wasn't passed, he took the gloves off.

I like Jake Broe's channel, but realize its pretty one sided. So if you want to understand the larger picture of whats going on militarily, economically and politically, you need other sources.

I actually have never heard anyone outside of russian propaganda say that UKR doesn’t care about their people.
Oops - yeah didn't read through that part before I posted. Just saw a prisoner release and thought it was newsworthy. Didn't think Illia typically had that kind of commentary, but maybe I've just been missing it.
