I see absolutely no way how anyone can be proud of this administration. We have not gone into isolation, we have firmly planted our feet in the countries with the most despicable leaders. With any other admin in the history of our country, this would be political suicide, no way they would recover. I really hope Europe steps up and slaps Trump down and redoubles their efforts in aid to Ukraine. It's in their best interest.

I think the Poles are the only realistic bulwark for the immediate future but, without logistical and air support from the US....

Sadly, the Machiavellian thing may turn out to be for Ukraine to send its best, brightest and its air force to Poland, but I fear it will turn out to be a 1940 French fleet situation all over again...but with no Royal Navy to handle the matter.

I really hope Congress stands up to Trump by passing a veto-proof budget that includes aid to Ukraine. But I'm not holding my breath.

They did that during trumps first presidency, and he defied them. I believe that was part of the impeachment process.
