So my colleague, Vasily, is in Voronezh. Two weeks of training to go and then to Ukraine. He is assigned to a motorized rifle battalion…:-(

In July, we were on a farm together and he was so proud of the imported Danish genetics on the site. He asked me to take his picture holding a newly-weaned pig. He had a big smile on his face…

This is like watching a party bus of fans heading to an away game. If this wasn't such an awful, murderous, dire (insert any number of synonyms and expletives here) situation, there's a comedy movie in here with a bunch of drunken, conscripted, untrained morons heading through a joke of two-week training and then off to combat.
