It blows my mind how an album that good has sold so poorly and fallen into total obscurity. I bought that album on a whim a few years ago and had never heard a single song. “Picture Book” sounded like a top 10 smash the first time I listened. “Sitting by the Riverside” was my instant favorite. Most of the songs are great, with a couple that are just alright, but how many albums can claim to do better?

I also had no idea what the George Cross was until I watched something on the battle for Malta in WWII two days ago. Churchill awarded it to the citizens there after four months of bombings by the Luftwaffe.

The Baader-Meinhof phenomenon is real.
 
I grew up on the who, Pink Floyd and the kinks.

Lola vs the powerman and the money go round is easily one of the best albums ever produced. Lola is one of the weakest songs but it was a huge hit.
 
Been on a big matchbox twenty kick last couple months.. all three albums and rob Thomas solo work too.

Heard the stuff on radio like most for last 15-20 years but it spoke to me more recently and I realize the goodness
