Music What Song/Album Are You Listening To? (4 Viewers)

Chuggs, shredding, tapping, growls, and double-bass. Must be.... Muse?

i started listening to polyphia a few years back, i love progressive metal, which kinda, sorta, they are, but also, i forgot about them, then my youtube recommendations, well, recommended them. i haven't heard anything of theirs since at least before covid, and jesus forking christ, i am ashamed. fork me. i can't play anything other than my own skin-flute to a fluctuating beat, but i am addicted. not just tim henson, but the four banger are all forking awesome. dude. insane. i've gone as far as watching too many breakdown videos of how they accomplish their sound.

over the past few weeks, i am now a superfan. holy fork. instrumental music at the peak of awesomeness. the insanity of the coordination required to complete these is jaw-dropping.

I’m far from a 311 fan, but the other day someone at the kids swim meet was playing this song, and it reminded me that other than their post 2003 stuff, 311’s music was quite amazing. It’s even better when it’s listened to in moderation.
I was a huge fan back in the day. Even saw them live at the Saengar. Anyway, I recently checked out their 'newer' music and they've put out some really good stuff. Check these out!

the day after posting this, i didn't see it until friday, i suck at updates, but it has taken me a few extra days to absorb. it is that good, in an extra-unique way.

it is absolutely mind-blowing they were able to find a singer (rapper, makes total sense, especially after listening to abc) able to be as clear and crisp as their melodics, and sing on top of (actually, insanely within their cords).

i'm a billion % fanboying.
