Why do you dislike Hillary Clinton? (7 Viewers)

>>Thoughtful people ought to be interested in that cover-up.

Of course. But despite a poor investigation, it (the death of Vince Foster) has been tied to the lists that were emailed to me during the Clinton era numerous times of all the "hits" of Clinton allies and detractors. I don't see how the link answers the question posed in the thread. It simply reinforces right-wing hatespew that we have all grown accustomed to over the last 25 years. That's why it ****** me off. I'm tired of the e-mails, I'm tired of the mindless, racist hate and I'm tired of idiots like the guy last night who introduced the guy who introduced McCain with his "Hussein" emphasis. It was awful and proved once again that so-called Conservatives are flawed and anti-American. These people are paranoid, exclusive and generally idiots. It's a position I've come to after 30 years of being politically aware. No one on here is going to step up and call me "stupid" with any sincerity because it would be a bogus charge. But the entierty of the rightwing/conservative status-quo and b.s. value system is anti-American to the core. Unfortunately they have had the [tm] on flags and Bibles so mindless drones who have nothing to gain via their policies follow them like good soldiers. It's terrible for the Republic and appaulingly anti-American.

Absolutely Bottom 10 terrible. I know you're a hardcore idealogue (not sure why anyone would be, but to each their own even though hard wingnut idealogues should be banned from life by God), but to bring that up on an otherwise thoughtful thread is absolutely awful. Terrible. Bottom 10 even. :nono:

I think that you qualified yourself as an idealog, anyone that tries to defend Jimmy carter as being a good president is obviously blind to reality. Nice honest, respectable guy, absolutely - good president, note even close. It's too ridiculous of a position to even argue.

And if by pointing out a link to another site that raises some questions that threatens your beliefs is too much to for you to handle without insulting me, I feel sorry for you.

I usually enjoy reading your posts, but you seem to have become very conceited and I think you should be more open minded and practice what you preach. Imho, you sound like a leftwing Clinton apologist with comments like this.

I've certainly never said he was the greatest president in history (I go with Madison, most disagree with that too). I think he was better than Reagan and W and have said why. Most people disagree with that, I don't really care. Corruption and underhandedness weigh big in my analysis. Regardlessly, I am not an idealogue and think that people who are are pretty much dense. What? You're going to allow some think tank to give you an idealogy or code to live your life and think by? Congratulations.

No. It didn't answer the question. It was clear that you were being smirkish with your, "I'm not saying, I'm just saying." Now had you said, "I disklike Hillary (the point of the thread) becuase Vince Foster's death seemed to be swept under the rug, I know his family, and they didn't get a fair investigation," that's something different.

You are again, wrong. I don't apologize for the Clintons. I don't vote for the Clintons any more than I vote for Reagans or Bushes. If you want to do that, fine. It's a completely bogus charge. For anyone to even call the Clinton's "leftwing" pretty much proves the point that you really don't know what you're talking about politically and are just borrowing some VRWC hatespew (as originally charged). My online persona isn't about conceit either unless you would disqualify someone for knowing they are right and routinely proving that they are. Let's face it, we all know that I am a better poster than just about anyone on this and most other forums I participate in. Others bring the talking points, but I deliver the truth. You don't have to like it. You can criticize it as much as you want. But Truth [tm] is immortal. You can hate it, fight it or get to the point where you believe the lies that you tell yourself. It doesn't matter to me. However, in the very rare instances that I am wrong, I come out and admit it because I am man enough to do so.

Not to threadjack, but why in the world do you think Madison was the greatest president? I mean, he wasn't a bad president, but I don't think he would merit #1 overall.

I dislike her because I associate her, rightfully so, with the DLC wing of the Party. The DLC has destroyed the Democratic PArty, has made it "THE Party of NAFTA."

But I also defend her sometimes because I think a lot of the hate directed towards her is totally unjustified. The hate directed by right-wing radio makes a small part of me actually like her.

Yeah, I mean, nobody with this guy as their VP should get consideration for #1:

Overall body of work I guess. I really appreciated his side in the debates with Hamilton (as best as I understand them) and think that his contribution of the Bill of Rights makes America what it is. Overall, I think his input into the Constitution (he being the Father) and his fight for checks and balances proved his greatness long before he became the president. While there were certainly a lot of problems during his administration (not the least of which was the burning down of the White House), the end of the wars and defeat of the British at the Battle of New Orleans put us on a path to greatness and ushered in nationalistic fervor which (IMHO) was good for the country at that time and led us seamlessly into the Monroe Doctrine. Also, his wife makes good pastries. :9:

I realize that arguments could be made for Washington, Lincoln, Jefferrson, FDR, etc., but I always liked Madison. I think he was perhaps the greatest thinker to become President and wrote the protections and freedoms into our system that we still enjoy today.

Her thighs are huge. Have you ever seen her upper legs? It's like she's carrying the thighs of 3 women around with her. I'm not voting for huge pasty white thighs.

You give her a redshirt, put her in Tommy Moffett's weight room at LSU, and she'll put Dorsey on his tush without chopblocking him. Those thighs, toned up, can push off the d-line. A low center of gravity helps.

I am a sucker for personality...
she just comes across as angry (perhaps a media driven picture)

Even though I made up my mind to vote for Obama a couple of months ago, I actually didn't have a problem with Hilary up until most recently when she started taking all of this cheap-shot low blows that have put her in worse shape than she was in before.

Instead of focusing on her campaign IMO she' focusing on digging up dirt on Obama.

She gave into her beliefs on Healthcare during the Clinton Administrations. Money is a powerful thing.

I don't know if that's true. Maybe, maybe not.

I always felt the Clinton's were naive about the power relationships in Washington, and they just got creamed coming out of the gate.

I suppose you could argue that they didn't persist for fear of alienating too many people in Washington. It's a fair criticism, but the reality is that if you make too many enemies, you'll be a lame duck.

>>Massive fail on the "George Clinton" reference.

I used it last week in another thread. :covri:
