Yes, our only chance is to trade up and i wouldn't mind if we did. Games are still won on the LOS. It doesn't
matter how loaded you are at the skills position

Look what Aaron Donald did and Jalen Carter is doing for the Eagles currently. We all complain about
not resigning Baun,but he didnt have a Carter here that let him roam and make plays

I really like Deone Walker as well. He's probably more of a #15 pick but he's really good. I wouldn't be mad about a top DE either. If not D-line, then I'd like to see an offensive player like Luther Burden or Ashton Jeanty. This draft is top heavy with defense. The offensive players are mostly second day picks. A trade back would be great but we all know that it isn't going to happen.

Hard to understand why anyone would do rankings before pro days and the combine. That said, as an exercise, it could be interesting to compare these ultra early rankings with those after the pro days and the combine.

Absolutely. I’m self debating whether IDL or Edge is more of a priority and leaning toward IDL. I think IDL is more of a weakness than Edge. It depends on who’s available in which round and also who’s available on offense. When the team has so many needs, decisions are made difficult.

I don't understand why Mason Taylor isn't getting more love. He looks like he's still ascending as a player with a pretty high ceiling.
Definitely has the genes to be a pro. I think he'll have a good career in the right situation. Just not sure WE are the right situation.
At least not right now.

edit: obviously not 1st or 2nd round, but I'd take him in the 3rd if we got a couple fat boys in the first two rounds.

I don't want to trade up because I think this team desperately needs draft picks to build depth, but you are right that with our DL instead of Philly's DL, Baun wouldn't be as good. And maybe Werner would look better if we had a better DL to keep him clean. But, hopefully we can add a big DT after the first if Graham doesn't fall to #9.
