Young couple goes on van tour of US, boy comes back with van - no girl (1 Viewer)

I'm not judging what kind of murder woods Dago hangs out in.

I was more envisioning an over-protective granddaddy telling him not to get lost in the woods because the animals would come for his pecker first.

It probably worked.

Only first class ones

I'm pretty sure it WOULD work.

What I don't understand is that the reserve was not closed the entire time. People have been able to go into the reserve on the weekends over the past two weeks. I saw a crownfunded guy from GA go into the reserve and do a 2 day search, he filled up his gopro full of video. There were at least 2 local guys who were able to get in there and search. The way it has been explained as that yesterday morning was the first time the reserve opened since this search for Laundrie all began and that this was the genesis of Christopher and Roberta Laundrie wanting to go look for their son. The reserve has been opened multiple times over the past two weekends.

The crowdfunded guy claims he was about 100 feet off from where the remains were found and he said that the water had receded quite a bit, he spent 2 weekends in a row at the reserve looking. The two local guys claim they were on the wrong side of their search where the remains were found.

One video from the 9th

"Son, the good news is that we have a plan for you to escape to your uncle's place in Mexico and live the rest of your life in luxury. The bad news is that we're gonna need some "partial remains" to be found to end the search for you. Be thinking of what you can live without."

This reminds me of the story a while back about the hiker who got his arm wedged by a boulder (in a remote part of Utah , I think) and could not free himself without hacking off his arm with a pocket knife. I can only imagine how tough that decision was to pull off.

But this is where the similarities end. I'm pretty sure that hiker hadn't previously murdered his girlfriend.

I have so many questions about this case, and I doubt most, if any, will be answered ultimately. Most of them center around the timeline and actions of both Brian and his parents. Another is how did Mr Laundrie know where to look for Brian? According to the segment I saw on NBC this morning, he is the one that found the backpack, picked it up and carried it to a police officer...sounds wonky. When they found the car parked there, why weren't the dogs able to follow a scent from it to where he was? Why were the Laundries allowed to move the vehicle back to their home before confiscating it? If LE didn't know about the vehicle until after the Laundries brought it home, more questions....why did they bring it home? They didn't think Brian would return and need it? Still more questions on my mind that I would like the answer to because a lot of these unanswered questions point to the parents helping him run and hide.

127 Hours. Probably James Francos' best work.

If your daughter was the perpetrator, would you want her to suffer a slow agonizing death in such circumstances? Would you feel the same satisfaction in justice?
well, hopefully i'll never have to answer that question from either side..
