I think the Raiders are trying to see what they've got in Walters before the draft... If they feel he's not working out then they draft a QB high.... obviously Brooks is not the future there and will probably be a backup at best, but I guess they didn't see that before the season started.

the thread was started.. I don't see why we can't post in here. It's funny... the bottom line is he's going to be rich the rest of his life because of us, so I don't think our comments are going to effect him very much.

Come on now. You don't have to like the guy but atleast give him some credit for his success. You think he was just born a pro football player? The guy worked to get where he got. You can argue that athletes are paid way too much, but the guy is no different than any other football player. He worked and performed to get where he got.

He was born with a strong arm so you are allowed to bash him everyday for 6 years if he doesn't meet your expectations for him. There is no reason he shouldn't have been a Hall of Fame QB.

I'm sure Brooks will be in there at some point this season, especially if Walter continues to play as he has. Brooks has done nothing to lose the starting job. He threw 14 passes and was sacked 7 times in a game where Joe Montana wouldn't have been able to do any better. That was the worst offensive line performance I have ever seen in my life.

The talk of Brooks throwing the ball backwards as if he did it every other play is really getting old. It happened one time in six years people.

We should leave him alone, not because he was a good quarterback, but because he was a decent person off the field. He did a lot of charity work and was always nice to fans who met him in person.

I have been asking this for weeks!!! I thought that the primetime games were based on your high level of play from the previous year, but I was obviously way off base with that one. Four freakin' primetime slots for the Raiduggghs. Heh.
