Physicians overwhelmingly support vaccination in adults. I believe that 90-95% planned to get vaccinated before it was available. But yes…we have to get vaccinated or lose our job. How many would have ultimately received the vaccine if we weren’t forced to do it…probably 90-95%.

The 30% was based on a large medscape poll amongst physicians. I think that number is pretty accurate. The reason you haven’t heard about the poll is because you’re not a physician and it’s very difficult to get access to Medscape if you’re not.

Would you post it for us? Every one I know is vaccinated and so are their children unless, of course, they're too young.

Perhaps this poll reflects the fact that some children aren't eligible in that 30%.

Either way, in your colloquial understanding. how many docs are not vaccinating their eligible children? For me, it's zero, but I don't know as many as you I'm sure and my friends would certainly have a selection bias so likely skewed.

I’m over it. I’m vaccinated. I use precautions to the best of my ability. But aside from that…what happens will happen. But there was a guy who decided to blow his nose next to me in an empty waiting room…pissed me off a little. Wouldn’t say I was afraid or paranoid though.
This is where I’m at too. People get sick; I’m not adjusting my life over this anymore than what I always did.

Two weeks ago Indiana was anointed the least vaccinated state.

This article is from four days ago.

I feel cheated.

Lol we have to be vaccinated or we lose our jobs. >30% of physicians will not vaccinate their children. I love sticking my nose up to antivaxers as much as the next guy…but I do it with better rationale.
I'm gonna call bullshirt in this. I have spent 15 minutes googling (ie "researching"lmao) trying to find any data about Doctors refusing to vaccinate their own children. I can't find any collaborating evidence of this at all. I did see over and over pediatrcians that are telling parents they will stop seeing kids in their practices if the parent refuse to vaccinate their kids (re childhood vaccines, not COVID related)

So, uh, Link?

BECAUSE YOU CAN'T FIND IT...BECAUSE YOU AREN'T A PHYSICIAN AND DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO MEDSCAPE ARTICLES. Before you say someone is lying...know who they are and know who you are. Become a physician...then gain assess and look it up yourself.

How about this...I'll post the link to the medscape article (which you will be unable to open because you don't have access), the moment you post the article about you "[seeing] over and over pediatrcians that are telling parents they will stop seeing kids in their practices if the parent refuse to vaccinate their kids (re childhood vaccines, not COVID related."
I'll also gladly post the context of the articles you can access, if you are willing to do the same. Like sample size, who funded the study, the paper's authors, things along those lines:

but here for starters:

I was previously pre-med, have a degree in biological sciences, worked for about half a decade in academia, and somewhere along the line was registered for Medscape. My browser just signed me in.

I logged in and preformed my search in Medscape and still cannot find such an article:

If 90-95% of doctor were planning to get the vaccine before it was available, and you believe 90-95% of doctors would have gotten the vaccine even if they weren't required to why the LOL?

I'd imagine that there are enough anti-vax doctors out there with access to that poll who'd be shouting off a mountaintop if nearly a third of doctors refused to vaccinate their own children. I just find it a bit odd that those poll results weren't leaked and all over the media

I'm curious Dr SammyMVPknight what type of medicine do you practice?

I participated in the poll as a "Non-professional".

Pretty easy to see he is clearly a physician based on his posting history. But if you want to dig that hole. Go right ahead.

I understand he is a physician, He told me in all caps to know who I was talking to because I didn't just take his word for something and asked for evidence. I'm just curious about his environment, large hospital vs small clinical setting, was going to ask if the 30% was consistent with his environment, and maybe make a point about sample size.

I pretty much consider all anonymous, COVID-related surveys gamed. VAERS? Gamed. Online surveys of medical doctors, academic PhDs, etc.? Gamed.
