So yesterday I learned that rabid Anti Vaxxer Robert Kennedy Jr. is married to Curb Your Enthusiasm’s Cheryl Hines

I had a follow-up call today with a potential website design/development client. He is a physician. He said he needs to hold off on proceeding with the project for a couple weeks to see if he will still have a job due to vaccine mandates and his refusal to get the vaccine. Then he went on a 10-minute spiel about Robert F Kennedy Jr, 5G, etc.

Soooo I think his answer to this thread would be "no". :hihi:

At a certain point, governments (or their constituents) will decide that the juice just isn't worth the squeeze when it comes to vax mandates. Getting that final 15 or 20 percent to get vaccinated at the cost of a lot of social upheaval is probably not worth it.

For more than four years, Chad Carswell, 38, has suffered from severe kidney disease. In July 2020, he started on dialysis — but now his kidneys are functioning at just 4 percent.

In an interview with The Washington Post, Carswell said he recently applied for a kidney transplant but was turned down because he has not received a coronavirus vaccine.

And, despite his hospital’s requirements that organ recipients be vaccinated against the virus, he’s refusing the shots.
Carswell, of Hickory, N.C., acknowledged his condition is a “ticking time bomb,” and said he’s living every day as though it’s his last.

Still, he will not take a coronavirus vaccine — even if that means losing out on a potentially lifesaving transplant.
“There is not a situation in this world that I’ll get a vaccine,” he told The Post.

“If I’m laying on my deathbed, and they tell me, ‘You have a kidney waiting on you if you get this shot,’ I’ll tell them, ‘I’ll see you on the other side.’”……..

Carswell said he knows that by refusing to get vaccinated, the donor kidney he so desperately needs will remain out of reach.

But he said he is willing to accept the consequences, even it costs him his life.
“I was born free,” Carswell added. “I’ll die free.”……

So I'm assuming he was born stupid.

I feel like we are already pretty close to that point.

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — As school systems across the U.S. struggle to keep classrooms open amid the pandemic, New Orleans is set to become the nation’s first major district to mandate COVID-19 vaccinations for children 5 and up, though state regulations will allow parents to opt out easily.

Ahead of Tuesday’s deadline, many schools in the city have been holding vaccination events, including one at KIPP Believe school.

One by one, dozens of children presented their signed permission slips, pushed up the sleeves of their pale yellow school uniform shirts and — often wincing, but rarely with tears — received a shot. Then they got candy.

Some said they had loved ones who had gotten the coronavirus and wanted to do what they could to protect their families. Others said their parents decided. Eight-year-old Nyla Carey had talked to her mother.

“She said that the COVID shot was to protect you. And so now I want to be brave,” the third-grader said before going back to class……

I'm all for social upheaval and anything that makes it easier to identify those who should not breed is greatly appreciated.

I guess the idea of making them wear patches on their sleeves won't fly, but there's got to be a way other than having to hear their screeds.

The filing is based on data provided to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration last month and results of two late-stage trials in the United States, Mexico and the UK that showed the protein-based vaccine had an overall efficacy of about 90%, the company said.

If you're worried about vaccinated people shedding virus (which doesn't happen because the vaccine doesn't use live virus but who's got time for facts?), you can just drink white pine needle tea . . . as foretold by a 2011 study in Korea.
