You have a really interesting idea of what "shoved" is. Slapped would've been more accurate.

Bias may be natural but it's important to hide it when you're announcing a football game. If you can't do that, I don't care about your inexperience, you deserve to be called out for it.

Albeit slightly, but he did move him just a tad. Like I said, it's ticky tack, but if he doesn't touch him there's no call.

Announcers can state their opinion. If he had said Brees was the GOAT during a Pats game then this whole board would love him for it.

If you’re a sports announcer then MNF has got to be near the pinnacle of that career, not a “learn on the job” type position. I do not get my money’s worth if I’m forced to hear offensive ignorance and propaganda. I grew up with Pat Summeral and Madden. McFarland and Tessitore are trash.

Maybe YOU should learn the difference between "Cajun & Creole"! NOTHING in the north! (sorry for any transplants).

Creole= Descended from 1st generation(from Europe) born in the "New World", city, saltwater fish, andouille, shrimp, Spanish/German/African/Italian influence, established by employees(domestic/restaurant), SE LA

Cajun= Descended from the <200 families expelled from Canda, country, fresh/brackish water fish, boudin, crawfish, French/Native American influence, homecooking, SW LA.

There has been HUGE crossover, but in it's "pure" form there is a big difference, historically, culturally & culinarily.

1.) If he feels Brady is better he's entitled to that opinion. That is the opinion of pretty much anybody that isn't a Saints fan.
2.) Although ticky tack, TQS did push off. I don't think it should have been flagged, but he did push off. Take the homer glasses off
3.) All announcers are biased especially former players. Nothing new here.
4.) He's better than Witten and some others. I don't dislike him, he's just not the best. Like Strief, it takes time to get good at a job like that if you aren't a natural for it.

Agreed especially on point one. I’ve asked all of my friends who aren’t Saints fans and almost all of them don’t even have him top 5. I’m not saying I agree with that as I see Drew as top 5 all time. But non Saints fans do not hold him in such high esteem.

Ok. I can't think of any announcers as legendary as Pat & Madden. Obviously they felt he was a good choice. Regardless of how you feel about him that doesn't take away his right to say Brady is the GOAT. The refs called interference and he agreed. Once again, had he said during a Patriots broadcast when Tom broke a record that Brees was the GOAT all of you wouldn't have a thing to say and you would talk mess about Patriot fans who didn't like it. Hypocritical!

I actually ? agree with him on the Manti play. He was there in the hole and is known as a run stuffer. That was not a great or even exceptional play by the RB imo, it was a very bad play by the linebacker.
