Brandon Staley and Christian Parker interviewed for Defensive Coordinator, Doug Nussmeier interviewed for OC; all on Feb 16 (80 Viewers)

Not these days they have to interview 2 minority hires outside the team for DC, HC, and 1 for QB coach now. So if his guys are Nuss and Staley he couldn't hire them until all the criteria was meet. Then they have to make everything look legit. You don't want to go directly to hire your guys and make the interview process look like a shame after meeting the standard. You should here something today or tomorrow. I they satisficed the Rooney Rule on Saturday I told my brother we should here something mid week.
Yea, we’ll see. We have a lot of coaches and assistants to hire, prior to the combine, would be nice. OC, Qbc, Passing Game Coordinator, Running game Coord, Rb coach, St coach, TE coach, DC, Pass rush specialist, DLine coach, DB coach and I’m leaving out around 15 more assistants. The fact that we had to wait until the Super Bowl was played, should quicken the pace. I was expecting KM to have his complete staff ready to be hired in a few days. Maybe after the OC and Dc are hired the assistants will be hired quickly.

So 1 question I'm having is about Rick Dennison the guy who was senior offensive ast/ run game coordinator. He was given permission to talk to the Seahawks but that was a bit ago. He's still listed on our coaching roster. I'm wondering if CKM is going to keep him on?
Who ever we hire as OC will probably have some say in that decision...

Any ideas who will be brought in to replace Rizzi?

I’d say this…just because things haven’t been made public doesn’t mean it hasn’t in effect been done. I promise you there are position coaches, maybe possibly even a coordinator or two already doing prep work.

I agree with you on this. I think there are some coaches are already in the plans like Orlovsky or his brother. I also heard he took Nuss and another guy with him to Philly. As far as the defensive staff that will be his call but I'm sure they know who's coming.

Ok, I’m feeling inside info vibe here. :)

Just saw that Dennison followed Kubiak to Sea. And we got Paganetti for the Eagles. I'm good with that because he spent quite a few yrs under Stoutland
