Comic Book Talk (2 Viewers)

Not sure about other titles but it definitely happens in the Batman event titles, like Knightfall and No Man's Land.

My dumb arse not only have the individual issues, but the trades as well.
Have both of those

Loved no man’s land

Really liked knightfall until that aftermath of breaking Batman’s back

Didn’t care for Valleys Batman at all (which I know was the point) don’t recall why Dick didn’t pick up the mantle

Dick has never wanted to be Batman. The one time he picked up the mantle after Bruce died, however, was some fun times. He and Damian as Batman and Robin was better than any other iteration of the Dynamic Duo.

Anybody notice anything "unusual" about the Resurrection of Magneto cover preview here?

forking Marvel won't answer any of my press emails. bastages.

I've been credentialed by six publishers now including DC and Image. Fan Expo is considering having my podcast on their live broadcast stage at Fan Expo New Orleans. I'm legitimate, you bastages. Answer my damn messages.

Picking this up today. It's a modern take on one of my favorite books.

I've got a massive stack of comics that I need to read over Christmas break. Of course, I just ordered a few more to add to the pile. Now, I just have to find the time to sit down and read them.

I'm so behind because I'm constantly receiving review copies from publishers to review. I will say this. Indie comics don't get the respect they truly deserve.

I thought that this was old news.

Also: The new Ultimate Spider-Man isn't what I expected, but it is good so far.

Last time was CBCS with the scandal. Main reason why I don't buy slabs from sellers.

So after finally reading the article, I'm going to say the title, not surprisingly, is very misleading. In my opinion, a scandal would be if CGC had a direct involvement in the matter. Now, do they have a weak policy? Definitely. But there's been no evidence thus far of them being in cahoots with the scammer(s). That would be a scandal.

Avengers Twilight is pretty good. It's set in the future where the U.S. turns fascist but, due to propaganda, the public is oblivious. (Could never happen 🙄)

Steve Rogers no longer has the super soldier serum and has aged. Iron Man is dead, and the other heroes of our time have either retired, or are dead. The story begins with Steve telling his wife Rosa that he's going to meet his friends Like Cage and Matt Murdock where Luke and Matt talk to Steve about how he has to be the one to do something about the direction of the country.

Issue #2 is even better in my opinion.
