There's the Mohu 25 (mi). 30, and 50.
If the closest tower is greater than 50 miles, you may want to get an outdoor antenna that has a capacity of up to 120miles away.
I have the 50-mile Leaf but don't have many stations despite Mohu saying I should get about 30. I just think my apartment sucks.

It looks like the max distance I would need would be 37.6 miles for what I'm looking for. I think the 50 should be good for me.

I bought 2 Mohu 50 antennas. I live in Kenner and the towers are 35 miles away. My antennas work great. I have a beautiful high definition picture. I receive 35 channels. The main channels I wanted were the major networks and PBS for my daughter. There are several extras including Me tv, Bounce, HSN.
I've read that tvs in the city do better than those in rural areas. Also, if there's interference near your house (trees, walls, high buildings, etc) it can mess with your reception.

If you do decide to go with a Mohu 50, just fyi, Walmart's website has two for $85 right now. $42.50 a peice is a very good deal. I think their normally $65-70 for one.

You can try them, if they don't do the job, you can always return them and get an outdoor antenna.

Nola, I did go ahead and buy the Mohu 50. It pulled in 22 channels. I think Mohu said it would be 23 so I'm very happy with that. The OTA HD is way better than my Cox HD also. My setup now is to use PS Vue for cable shows thru my Roku 3 and network apps on the Roku for their on demand shows. I can watch my racing and football OTA.
My only hesitation is if I should buy a Tablo DVR for OTA stuff.
I plan on turning in my Cox cable box in a week or so. We will be saving $90/month!!
Nervous and excited!!

HBO Now is awesome. Everything they have, right there. Simple to use. I have it, I love it

If it's similar to HBO Go, I'd highly recommend it. Not a huge fan of the navigation system, but it's similar to Hulu or Netflix. Picture quality is awesome and virtually glitch free, at least on a Galaxy S7 Edge and an older iPad.

I'm thinking of getting HBO Now. Any thoughts and experiences?

I subscribed when my brother in law wanted to watch Game of Thrones with the intention of canceling within the 30 day trial. It's good enough that I have kept it for several months.

Good deal. I really wanted to know about differences to HBO GO. We decided to go legit and stop using the mother in laws log in. I'm on the trial right now. It'd be nice to have an app for ps4 but I suspect that will come before long. Until then I'm just going to use a browser on my htpc.

Congrats!
To tell you the truth, I cut cable over 2 weeks ago and I haven't missed it at all. There's plenty of enough to watch on regular tv and Netflix to keep me entertained. We also use Redbox to rent DVDs (usually on Friday nights Family time).
I'm not too familiar with DVR so I probably won't be of too much assistance there.
Just don't hesitate too much in turning in those Cable Boxes. They'll charge you fees if you don't turn it in within 10 days.

We cut ties about 3 months ago. Use an Amazon Firestick with Netflex and Amazon Prime.

I need to find a good antenna for local channels and figure out how to watch Saints & LSU games online. Other than worrying about football, we love it.

LOL!
There are a few things you can try.
Have you tried moving the antenna around to find a better spot?
I had to do this several times until I got a clear reception. I'll tell you, I had to put it up high (above my living room window) to get the best reception. Also, if you find a better spot, make sure you do another channel search on your t.v. It will re-program in all of the new channels you may have missed before.

Another thing, you can buy an amplifier for the Mohu antenna. I've read were this solves a lot of people's reception problems.
They run about $20

Right now, it's at the highest point in my apartment. I originally set it up in the window, which was much better until I let the metal blinds down. Everything went to **** after that. I just got a TV in the front that I'm sure I'll be able to move the antenna around with (already have the amplifier too). The bedroom is pretty shot though as I already have the cable coming across the room to the TV under the bed and a throw rug lol.

Let me ask....is the wall you have the antenna on an outside wall, or is it against someone else's apartment? B/C if you can put it on an outside wall, it works better.
Also, do you know in which direction your Broadcast towers are located? Obviously, you would want to put your antennas facing that direction.
Hopefully, you'll have better luck in the living room. You're so limited in what you can do in an apartment.

It's on the outside wall. I think my biggest problem is that my apartment faces the north and I'm north of Baton Rouge. I believe the towers are all to the west of the city.
