Exactly.I was gonna come here and post the same thing, but you beat me to it. I looked at that video and thought, who is this guy & where has he been?
They do love him that’s evident, but it’s also evident that he’s still a terrible head coach like he was in Oakland and he has been here. These guys love DA, he’s not losing that locker room, if that would happen he would’ve lost the defense as the DC.
Every single guy in that locker room knows they haven’t played up to their standard this season, and they’re starting to feel better with 2 wins in a row. Look for them to come out fired up next week.
I'm thinking more and more that Loomis himself has to be fired as well before this team starts truly getting back on track. I hate to be saying that because Loomis has been really good for a long time.A victory over a team that wanted to be there even less than you did and was looking for any opportunity to quit. But yea Lily Allen whatever you say big boy NFL football.
What made Loomis look at this clown and say “ yea this is the guy “ ?
I’m also tired of hearing what a great DC he is. What the hell has he ever done without Payton holding his hand ?
This has been stated way too many times. Since when did NFL head coaches become this choosy about employment? There are only 32 of these jobs, and the ones that are open are indeed of the “S*** show” variety. Unless you’re someone like Hall of Famer Sean Payton, you’re getting in wherever you can.ciaches
I think the SP situation has given many a false impression on how coaching searches go. This isn’t a free agent recruiting visit.
In my opinion, the only way DA saves his job is if he beats Philadelphia.I don't think he's saved his job. We're likely to get rolled next week, and then you have the final game in front of a half-empty dome. If we win both, he probably stays. If we lose both, he probably goes. If we split, it depends, but I'm guessing they keep him.

Sweeping the Falcons didn’t change public sentiment.
Beating the Browns didn’t change perception.
Heck, even changing the trajectory of the season from the Baghead Era to a season on the same level of ‘14-‘16 didn’t change anything.
6-11 gets him fired.
Public perception does matter when they try to sell season tickets.Public perception or sentiment doesn't have anything to do with it.
DA is not going to be fired after this year.
It's simply not going to happen unless CSP shows up and asks for his job back.
Agree, I always suspected their loyalty to the SP era would give DA at least two years, may be long years...I’m starting to lean that way myself and it pains me to say that also. Especially after passing on guys like Pederson for this imposter. Sometimes you can overthink things but it’s starting to look like there was no thought at all put into replacing Payton.
He could show he still has some fire in the belly by moving on from this coattail rider ASAP though.

I can see one argument to keep DA.Agree, I always suspected their loyalty to the SP era would give DA at least two years, may be long years...
