I’m glad Carr is a good sport about it

He's next up on stage right after Drew Brees dropped the mic. Thats an impossible situation. For him to gain NOLAs love, he'll have to endure extra and unfair criticism. And he'll have to endure it for at least another year or 2. (Technically he could win the crowd, if they over achieve next year. But the chances of that happening in a completely new offensive system is not likely)In passing on twitter, I read that Carr was on a float and thought to myself "finally trying to endear himself to the city, maybe there is some hope for him". Then I found out that this is what was meant. Brutal for him, but not unexpected. He's going to have to try a bit harder to become a fan favorite, but I'll bet he's nowhere near NO during the off season. He doesn't seem like the type that's going to make NO his home 12 months a year.

Andy was exactly what we thought Andy would be. Perfectly mediocre. DC entered the scene with expectations and didn't meet them early onIs it because of the amount of money he makes?
Because I just don't remember Andy Dalton being metaphorically burned at the stake in the same manner that Derek Carr has been...
10/10He nailed the response.
I agree, but I honestly believe that there will be a good number of fans that will never like him regardless. Some people are just a hateful bunchI see no problem here. He was terrible in the red zone for the majority of the year. It cost us games. If he doesn't like it, then play better. When you play well this fan base will love you like no other.
Lol yeah the boos are what caused his play to improve...Derek Carr started playing better after the boo’s in the dome. He had literally the best five game stretch of his entire career to finish the season. If this float can light a fire under his arse, then good.
I tried getting that GIF in there (never had a problem before) but the file was too large, which is also Churlish
Btw, can anyone tell me why I can’t use certain GIFs bc of the file size? I am the GIF King and I need to be able to speak in GIF
It has happened to other players. The float made about Zion cut deeper than this one. This was deleted yesterday. But this is classless and wrong. For a city that claims to be welcoming and supportive this display says otherwise. Looking at this he probably regret signing here. Now you have other players who might think twice about coming here. Out of many saints players, we are calling out this one player. This is pathetic. Try this with another player. Will some you feel the same?
I would almost bet that Carr and his family won’t be at any parades. They’re hard core Protestants and prolly think the Mardi Gras is da Devil.Been to just about every Mardi Gras for the past 40+ years and rode in Endymion a few times, go to the Endymion Extravaganza almost annually, as well as rode in Morpheus several times. I know what Mardi Gras is all about.
Still think its kind of messed up that this is the type of thing our QB (and his family) has to see during their first ever foray into parade season as a member of the community. It's a bad look from a national perception perspective.
