Elon Musk makes $43 Billion offer for private buyout of Twitter (14 Viewers)

I deactivated my hellscape account last night before midnight (so the updated TOS wouldn't apply to me). I went to bed w/ 1.6+k followers and today I'm at 1.8+k, lol. Following like-minded starter packs and boost lists is how you do it...

People announce their own departures in airports? You must go to really strange airports.

I have only seen a couple of announcements, TBH.

Threads and Bluesky are full of arrival announcements.

These tend to happen in waves, there have been several so far (Gaza, when Elon amplified anti-migrant violence in the UK, and now the election have been the largest I have seen).

The data all suggest a significant migration away from X and a dramatic loss of revenue at X but there’s still a large and active user base there. It’s probably most likely a fracturing of the space rather than zero sum with one winner.
