I competed in a barista competition a few years back and used apples. I tasted so many varieties to try picking the right one for my drink.

I’ve always been a fan of the super tart Granny Smith, but Jazz and Pink Ladies have been my favorites as of late.

I tried a new to me apple a couple weeks ago. Sweet tango....had never heard of them. Pretty good apple but hard to find so I've just stuck with my Fuji.

Honeycrisp is my go to because of its year round availability and I can’t get cosmic crisp all the time now. The zestar has a shorter growing window. Much shorter. But man during that window I can’t get enough.
