N/S Kirk Cousins May Be More Hurt Than Thought (2 Viewers)

He looked very slow on Sunday and wasn't moving around well. They really need to be playing under centre to have the best chance. Watt and the boys just destroyed that Oline.

The falcons didn’t live up to the pre season hype. As bad as it was, they still had a chance to drive down and win it and cement Cousins as everything they hoped he would be. Nope. Pick was thrown. lol.

Falcon hate aside, he looked like he didn’t have the mobility option to move around the pocket and the Steeler’s dline was keying on right where he would be on his drop step.

Some games define franchises and break them forever.
It happened with Buffalo and the Bills post Levy.
28-3 did the same to the Falcons.

Yeah no kidding. He's old and coming off an Achilles injury. Of course he's bad. Did everyone now know this? It'll be a year from now before he's back to his normal slow self. Atlanta is toast cause that rookie QB will look worse than Bryce Young.

Absolutely. They tried to downplay it when it happened but I knew their window was shut. They just continue to refuse to come out of its shadow. Cousins driving down and winning the game with a touchdown, would have been a huge step in the right direction for them. Instead, they keep living in their own heads. I love it.

A falcon fan told me that they ran mostly pistol formations because cousins had trouble dropping back from under center and planting on his right foot. (Due to the injury) I don’t know his source for this but assume he would have more knowledge than me about cousins since he’s a falcons fan.
Ask your friend who is the Falcons fan to ask the two other Falcons fans what they think. If all three agree, I'll go with that.

I looked at a few dozen Cousins throws from 2022. He has a strange throwing motion. He often doesn't push off with his back (right foot that was injured) when he throws. I did see a few throws where he used his back foot a little bit. He didn't use his back foot much at all against Pittsburgh. He still looks injured or his body doesn't trust the repair yet. He looks like a statue back there. Chase Young would make him eat two Offensive Linemen. Young blasted a triple team against Carolina.

Why do you need to C head bob snap at home? Steelers fans too loud? Refs bailed out ATL a couple of times on Watt sacks. Zero mobility by Cousins.

If you are any team playing at home against Pittsburgh, SF, Vegas, or Dallas, your stadium is going to get taken over.

If you are a team like Atlanta that has a “questionable,” fan following and in a popular destination type city, those specific teams above will fill your stadium to the brim with opposing fans; it is just flat out unavoidable.

Sure looks like he was throwing that away. An accurate pass there is a pic 6.
I don't see that. Even if he were trying to hum it into the dirt, that wouldn't keep him from not pushing off his right leg as he did so.

But the more convincing evidence that he's hurt is that they only let him take four snaps under center and kept him in the pistol over half the game. And that's in a game they were never losing by more than eight points. That's not normal, and it's never happened in Cousins' career.

Looking at his other plays (Warren Sapp made a video of them), he couldn't move at all. That wasn't him just not knowing the system. Something is up with his Achilles.
