Yeah, that's a cool way to display them. I'm definitely gonna try and save up for the Razor and Falcon. Apparently, rumor has it that Lego will be retiring all of the current SW sets. That's disappointing, but I guess they gotta retire sooner or later.Yea, as you can see from my pic on the 1st page of this thread, I use my office as my lego room. I’d rather have LEGOs behind me on Zoom calls than a blurred background. My customers tend to like it. I get all sorts of questions about the Falcon or RazorCrest.
I have such a mishmash of sets right now, it's hard to decide which theme to focus on. I've got a handful of City sets, the Avengers Tower, several mid sized and smaller Star Wars sets, and a couple of Creator sets. I tend to try to buy sets on sale and kicking myself for not getting the RC that was sale priced a month ago.
Not sure if I'm gonna try and splurge for the large Star Wars sets before they get discontinued or just hit the sets on sale.
I'm definitely thinking about doing some hunting during my next week off from work and hit up yard sales and the local thrift shops. I've heard some people have good success finding sets, even if incomplete for really cheap. Parts are still fairly cheap and not all that difficult to find on some of the secondary market sites.
I might even look for used sets if they're close to complete. Some pretty good value for those. The only thing I worry about with used items is if they've been exposed to sunlight as that causes yellowing and damage to the plastic.
