The guy lost is sister to cancer, he probably didn’t give a F about football. Much less where people think he should’ve been drafted.

Big A, I'm with you. He's got a little of Werner in him.I would love either of them, but at the same time I'm hoping that the Saints can sit tight at 40 and land LB Drew Sanders. His athleticism, production and versatility really intrigue me. He can play ILB position as well as rush from the edge.
It's what a lot of people do, they read that a player had an injury and they automatically call him injury prone without really looking into it. This board is famous for it. Like you said he had ONE football injury, an ACL. Yes, it's a fairly big one that he had 4 games into the 2021 season. ACL's really take about 2yrs to be back to where they were before and you could see BB get better each game, in fact, you could see some of the reasons why he was ACC defensive rookie of the yr in 2020 in the last few games like the TN game where he played quite well against some TOP talent O lineman. But hey but if they are too lazy to do some research they'll post inaccurate stuffOh? Most injury plagued player? Do some research. He missed time, but to a singular injury. Little sis fought cancer and lost which caused him some lost time and a kidney infection (a non-football **illness**). The singular injury was a serious one - an ACL. It took him awhile to come back to normal.
The question is not that he is injury plagued, but how close to 100% he is and will the ACL cause future problems. That remains to be seen.
Stop trying to introduce facts into theIt wasn't just his sister passing that affected his 2022 production, it was the strength loss from the kidney infection. That information is easily accessible with a Google search.
Apparently, he had shoulder surgery also. Not singular.
My bad. I see that he didn't miss time because the surgery was in January which might have been the offseason. However, for him to have surgery in January 2022 means he was injured in 2021. I mean people don’t just get surgery for the hell of itHe missed no time for the shoulder, It was a minor shoulder surgery, it was insignificant
The shoulder surgery was just a cleanup done in the offseason he missed no playing time. Do the researchForgetting the shoulder?
Do your research on a “clean up”The shoulder surgery was just a cleanup done in the offseason he missed no playing time. Do the research
He does not fit our defense. He is more of an OLB in a 3-4.I really wanted Nolan Smith. Hopefully the Saints are smarter than me.
I also thought about that comparison. Both versatile, about the same 40 times (4.58 vs. 4.59), and similar measurables other than Drew Sanders is slighly taller at 6 ft 4. I mean, Sanders has a 37' vertical and Werner had a 39.5 vertical. Both are impressive. Even the negatives were similar in write ups, like "fall too easily for misdirection", etc. Both were highly productive in college. What grabbed me is that Sanders only has 1-yr. at LB under his belt. Can't wait to see what he does a couple of years from now.Big A, I'm with you. He's got a little of Werner in him.
