I agree but it’s time to move on. We can’t change anything if we not all on one page. Mickey and DA are in charge like it or not.

At a certain point all of us who have held the same job a long time have to take a look and reflect honestly: am I the proper and best person for this job? Am I too comfortable? Am I capable of adjusting to changing times and changing people? Does the style and method I use continue to be what is best for my organization/employer?

I'm glad he is getting things "recalibrated" and that he admits he has not performed his job properly. But that does not mean I have any confidence in him getting this thing on track. I think the change we need - beyond possibly DA - is Loomis.

To say I’m disappointed in our General Manager is an understatement. Please Mickey stop doing this to yourself. The position of GM requires a lot more. Retire and enjoy the years you have left. Pass the baton it’s time.

The hard thing to do is not to show patience and get problems fixed. The hard thing to do is to recognize that the organization has made fundamental mistakes and needs to change direction.

Indeed. I can not remember Loomis ever coming off like this until this season started going downhill. I think he's had about enough.

He's answering questions to people outside the organizations, I do not know what you do for a living but if asked by someone to explain your job or position and they have no clue outside of casual knowledge how would you explain it to them if at all?

His response was acceptable to me, because its to early to fire the head coach, but not to early to adjust the working parts around him, last season it was the defensive staff now its the offensive and both with good reason.

He looks and sounds defensive. When you're more concerned about appearances off the field rather than appearances on the field, things are bound to get worse. Right now, he's focused on being right about Allen at all costs. It may cause the Saints to lose 2 of the best players in franchise history.

The majority of folks watching that clown show of a PC are Saints fans I would venture.....that is who he is addressing.....and IMO he should know that the fans are smarter than to believe his total and utter BS.....

Once we get rid of all the coaches under him and most of the players that were absolutely key for us (if that winds up happening and there is some evidence that it will) and then we continue to nosedive? What then? Burn it to the ground just to prove that DA isn't HC material after all?

Seems like folks are trying awfully hard to come up with nonsensical arguments on why DA is still here, I haven't heard a good one yet.....and Loomis's are worse than most.....

I dont think Kat was paying attention. ML mentioned several areas that needed improvement. He noted that we started poorly in the redzone. He said that Even though we improved greatly in that area over the last part of the season, overall, it was not where we wanted to be. There was something ekse he mentioned in that same breath, but can't remember what it was. He was asked about run defense being poor, taking a step back from the previous year. He acknowledged that while also stating that creating turnovers was a point of emphasis this past season that they felt they improved on. He essentially stated defense was a mixed bag without saying it directly.
