Don't be surprised if he skips NoLA.

Crazy stuff. We're going to interview about 12 candidates. But we may not be interviewing the top name.
That has always been true...except when Payton was his coach, CSP showed an actual attempt to reign in JW's gunslinger tendencies.Winston is always the MVP. You just don't know which team it will be for though.
I remember Payton chewing Jameis out for throwing a TD that was a dumb throw. He didn't want gunslinger Jameis and did his best at getting rid of that tendency. That has always been true...except when Payton was his coach, CSP showed an actual attempt to reign in JW's gunslinger tendencies.
I just did a quick stat/metric/analytic check while talking to my buddy over Teams.....Agree that he was benched for tanking reasons. Don't agree that he'd beat the Bengals, maybe, MAYBE the Dolphins.
It's less "sticking with him" and moreso talking about the situation. All that was said was Winston was benched so the Browns can tank and people took that and ran with it, not knowing that is exactly what happened. I said nothing about his play or even him. Just the fact that they were competitive playing top 5 defenses and they were coming up on weaker (and declining) defenses, which would have killed any move to get a top 5 pick. It is what it is.I have to give you credit for sticking with Winston no matter what.
Underhill seems to think we won’t even interview Ben.
WTF
You mean the Vikings?Agree that he was benched for tanking reasons. Don't agree that he'd beat the Bengals, maybe, MAYBE the Dolphins. And I watched football this season. And I'm a Winston supporter but with less confidence than before. My confidence in him took a hit last season against the Lions when Carr got knocked out of the game and Winston was setup to finish a great comeback. At the game, I told my neighbor that Winston will step up and shut up a lot of non-believers. He didn't and looked bad and that was with good protection and open receivers. Still love the guy, but he's had many, many chances. I'd rate him as a low-level, inconsistent starter that flashes and disappoints equally well.
This game where we were down 21-0 in the blink of an eye.You mean the Vikings?
Jets, Colts, and Raiders seem like obvious teams calling. They are outside top 3 in a 2 QB draft.
