Nick Underhill: Saints Might Not Move on from DA (1 Viewer)

I think Nick Underhill is looking for clicks.
Nah, I think Nick has looked to rationalize the scenario and make sense of it. He's as much of a fan of the team as we are, but he's also privy to knowledge that we aren't. We do know that Mickey is patient, and he's digging deeper into that w/ his latest article. He's also fighting against what the historical data is saying w/ regards to losing 6 in a row..etc.

He's where most of us are - caught between angst and acceptance

Mickey should read Quit: Knowing when to walk away from Annie Duke. It's unfortunate he has dragged this on for so long and accepted having a unsuccessful head coach as part of his organization. The reality DA just doesn't have it, that is a fact no matter how you evaluate it. As good leaders we need to identify when enough is enough, and just walk away from it. Mickey has really showed poor leadership skills in this process and its affecting his choices he's making with this team.

I truly believe that the real evaluation toward DA starts this Sunday. You can't really use the injury excuse no more and you have 10 games left. You get Carr back, whether or not that translates into winning 7+ of those games, I doubt it. I don't see how the Saints are beating the Rams, Wash(if Jayden is healthy), GB(if Love is healthy), I think Atlanta is gonna be a tough game, I think all of those losses will be because the defense got cooked. If GOOD Jameis shows up, he will probably cook DA's defense along with Chubb at RB. Cleveland also has the defense to really cause our O.line troubles. They should win against the Panthers, Raiders, Giants, but who knows, Nabers can pop off in that game for 150+ yards.

Toss up game, Tampa but division foe so you really never know.

Why do you do this?

It reads like it says.

Because your comment warrants it. You explain nothing, seemingly acknowledge it is based on nothing, so it will be met with that sort of response.

If you don’t want that type of response, explain yourself, otherwise, you clearly have no idea what you’re talking about and are just being willfully ignorant about the situation for the sake of it and just because you feel like it.

Does this help?

There are more than a handful of well documented occasions where Gayle has demonstrated her surrport for the team and the organization.
That's not what we are talking about, though. We are talking about football operation decisions.

Just feels like people are being unjustifiably cynical about her role as owner.
Why cynical?

She owns the team, because she inherited it, but there are no signs she's involved in making any football operation decisions.

Serious question? How many people are able to objectively evaluate their own performance without pressure from some supervisor? Mick has no boss and he's determined to show all of us "suckers" he knows about something he clearly got lucky doing the first time. He's our own Jerry Jones

You’re asking for something most other owners aren’t providing either though except for the clown in Texas that calls himself the Owner/GM and maybe 1 or 2 other loudmouth types that like to be on camera as much as possible.

My god.... I am not asking for anything.

Have a good one...
