Rap: DA returning barring “debacle”, Gayle/Loomis commend him for “holding it together” citing injury excuses (1 Viewer)

While DA is not respected amongst fans, he is respected in both the front office and the locker room. The players are playing hard for him and have not quit. The problem is schematic. PC is a great play designer but he is a poor playcaller. If we are keeping DA it would be best to replace the entire offensive staff.

This is the new standard for your New Orleans Saints. It only took two years for DA to torch what Sean/Drew built to the ground, and our management believes he’s earned another shot despite not reaching a single goal and failing to win the worst division in football while playing the leagues easiest schedule. Dark times ahead.

I predicted this outcome several weeks ago. Saints would win enough to screw themselves out of a top draft pick but still miss the playoffs. I would almost guarantee they win next week and the Bucs beat the panties. I’ve been a fan long enough and have seen this scene play out far too many times.

The Bucs beat the Panthers? That's a pretty thick limb you went out on.

Honestly I'm ok with this as long as we get another OC. The play calling has been vanilla and predictable. Dennis Allen has a pretty good defensive game plan that caters to player strengths. Get an OC that can work with Carr, AK, and these rising WR's we have. DA and the defense will take care of the rest.

“Holding it together” There’s something to print on a t-shirt and get hyped about.

I can't remember the last time the Saints have been this healthy.

If this holds true, Gayle/Loomis will have a bitter pill to swallow when the 18 year season ticket sellout streak ends after this season. That banner will get awkward quick.
T-shirt, slogan on the back with an arrow pointing down "Holding it Together"

This has been the "best" injury year in close to a decade.

There's NO WAY they sell those "Bunker Club" season tickets next year at over $300 a game. If they were serious about the fans, they would LOWER season tickets and concessions by 10% across the board.

I'm more than on record in the replace DA camp. I firmly believe he will not get us to the SB. That said, If DA does a complete revamp of the offensive coaching staff and I mean EVERYONE from PC to Marrone to WR's coach Burns. Curry has not shown me anything to think he's special. Maybe keep Jahri Evans. And he hires someone like Musgrave an OC that has gotten the most out of Carr in the past. Then I'd go hire Roy Istvan the ast OL coach for the eagles, he spent 5 yrs under the best OL coach in the league Stoutland Then I'd try and lure Brian Hartline WR coach @ Ohio State to be our WR coach. . If DA could do something like that and leave the offense to Musgrave and those coaches you'd see a pretty different offense. That's the ONLY way we'd have any success with DA as HC
