Saints at the top of Davante Adams’ wish list [Raiders trade Adams to Jets for conditional 3rd ; Jets paying Adams’ entire remaining salary] (3 Viewers)

Carr seems to gets injured at the same time in the same situations a lot. (esp if you ask Raiderfans that say Carr fakes injuries) So 100% he's starting next week. He's learned this behavior. He takes a fall in a game then blames the injury, as a result, has the fans worried who's going to start the following week. Then Carr says: "I'm good to go". The fans rejoice and say, "what a tough hombre we have at QB" As a result, Carr turns a negative into a hero moment. Rinse and repeat. Im starting to recognize a pattern.
I wish I could Dead Falcon this one again.

I wonder if the Carr news or the Saleh news may have derailed/delayed this potential acquisition.

I’m really surprised no deal was announced today ahead of practice tomorrow.

Raiders may also just be holding firm with someone who won’t budge (which sounds like someone I know 😂).

Before the season I had CO ranked in the top 15 WRs in the league. He’s now dropped lower due to rookies who are playing well.
I really do think he's been victimized a bit by the offense. First, it's a new offense for him, and second, the pressure on Carr since the loss of McCoy has made it difficult for Carr to get the ball to the WRs down the field. Olave has had a tough time getting open quickly.

Olave reminds me a lot of Stills..

Amazing talent.
Checks out mentally

I remember being in the Dome week 17 vs Atlanta last year. The entire offense was talking to each other on the sideline , about to go on the field, and Olave was sitting on the bench all by himself. Seemed very weird to me.

Really? Wow, it might be time for a new sport to root for? JK. I was genuinely excited for the Jets and the A.Rodgers saga. (I followed that giant thread for months) Poor Jets fans, they seem to suffer unlucky repetitive trauma that its almost comical. Ive been learning some new coping methods following them.
I’d laugh at em too but I’ve been thru too much with my by far first and foremost favorite team to make fun of other fans lol.

I pull for all teams who’ve not had much luck, or bad luck, in general.

I do get it tho. At least they’re not the Browns.

How can you look at our WR performance yesterday and say it's not a need? To say it's not an area of need is absurd to me. It's not the number one need, but it's absolutely an issue.
Nobody is saying that it's "not a need", just that our OLine situation is SO BAD we can't take advantage of a WR upgrade.

Olave was open multiple times but our plays are ruined due to immediate pressure.

Would selfishly love to have him, but the Offense can't get the ball to Olave, only prayers downfield to Shaheed so far have been answered. Davante is a great WR, but unless Drew comes out of retirement I don't see him helping out with the wins. Unless maybe we give up on the ball control offense that doesn't appear to be working against the decent to better teams.

Why are people acting like McCoy and Ruiz are out for the year or that Adams is 100% only being acquired for a single season playoff push and that’s it?

That’s the part I am not understanding. Why stop improving the team just because we have issues in that area?
