Precisely. If/when the line gets healthy enough, which potentially looks to be in a couple of weeks, they could get it together and make a run. It's admittedly a bit of a long shot, but if Adams is in the fold and the offense gets reasonably healthy again, Carr would have 3 viable weapons to throw to in addition to the TEs. With everyone healthy, the offense can be a top 5 offense in the league. But it all hangs on the line being healthy. Why are people acting like McCoy and Ruiz are out for the year or that Adams is 100% only being acquired for a single season playoff push and that’s it?
That’s the part I am not understanding. Why stop improving the team just because we have issues in that area?
Amari Cooper?
I'd love it too, but we came out in a three tight end set to start the game last night, or at least in the first series, I remember thinking it was odd and wondering who the long haired TE was. Serious question though, so if we did land Adams, would Kubiak change the scheme to a more 3 WR set scheme ?Precisely. I am pulling for Adams to become a Saint if the price is right, meaning 3rd round or lower draft pick and the Raiders have to chip in on the bulk of this year's salary. Otherwise we should walk away.
I like Cooper but he still struggles with drops.I wouldn't mind Cooper either. Both Cooper and Adams are more than capable WRs who can add a lot to the offense.
Well, McCoy is out 6-8 weeks. Ruiz isn't being talked about in terms of time frame. Taysom has broken ribs. Carr is now out. The team is coming off 3 straight losses and looking at 2 more in the next 9 days. Even if Adams were to miraculously improve the team and they were to win 50% of the games after that, we'd be 7-10.Why are people acting like McCoy and Ruiz are out for the year or that Adams is 100% only being acquired for a single season playoff push and that’s it?

Who even knows. We have no oline depth so we completely abandoned the Play Action in favor of spreading the offense out, and the result was 9 QB hits and so many unanswered prayers.I'd love it too, but we came out in a three tight end set to start the game last night, or at least in the first series, I remember thinking it was odd and wondering who the long haired TE was. I don't know that he would change it entirely, but they have run some 3 WR sets and actually did more than a handful last night. I think he'll take advantage of whatever personnel is available. If Hill is back, that just gives Kubiak more weapons to work with.I'd love it too, but we came out in a three tight end set to start the game last night, or at least in the first series, I remember thinking it was odd and wondering who the long haired TE was. Because since his contract is for one year before we have to cut him why would we waste a potentially top 10 pick in the 2nd round on him? That’s the part I am not understanding. Why stop improving the team just because we have issues in that area?
Hasn’t stopped ShaheedI really do think he's been victimized a bit by the offense. First, it's a new offense for him, and second, the pressure on Carr since the loss of McCoy has made it difficult for Carr to get the ball to the WRs down the field. Olave has had a tough time getting open quickly.
This x10Rattler to Adams
