“It just gets right back to what stares at you right in the face is that we’ve had an abnormal amount of injuries, including to our quarterback, and we haven’t been able to overcome that, and so that puts pressure and stress on the organization and ultimately it was cause for a change,” Loomis said.

It's just wild that he's allowed to speak at this point. He's basically saying that the organization caved to public pressure instead of standing behind it being the right decision for the football team. That's absolutely unheard of. There's a classy way of saying that a coach isn't getting it done. You don't have to call him bad. But certainly you can be professional enough to say something along the lines of "we felt it was in the best interest of the organization to make a change at head coach" - it's really not that difficult. This dude is a PR nightmare.
I honestly hope Gayle has more power than I’ve given her credit for. She’s gotta see how delusional this dude is. Everyone else sees it.

If you guys/ladies haven't seen/heard this yet... check out "how it all went down" on Airline. Courtesy of Hester and T-Bob.

LOL watching this video reminded my why I never watch these 2 clowns ever. T-Bob ( what a dumb name) comes off as a goofball frat boy talking about " Shedeur Sanders rocking the black n gold" and Hester said if we wanted to hire a HC from within the building after Payton left why didn't we hire Dan Campbell. LOL Campbell was HC with the Lions in SP's last yr here. He also said we should have hired Glenn if we wanted someone from in the building. Glenn was just a DB coach and he was hired to be the DC with the Lions the next step up.

He didn't break his silence on the firing. HE WAS QUOTED IN THE PRESS RELEASE. Some of you are so frustratingly poor at reading comprehension.

What is this "some of you" nonsense? The thread title, which has been probably edited 10 times, is the only thing that reads 'breaks silence'.

Everyone knows about his very cringe quote from the original press release. Everyone is now moving on to discussion of his appalling statements from his "coaches show". I have no idea what you're up in arms about.

this is the result of merging threads... he missed the article about everything Loomis has since said, did a drive by posted without even catching up on the thread since probably the last time he admonished us for discussing Loomis's failure.

At no point was Loomis "silent." He didn't break his silence, he was interviewed.

Correct. He said face-palm stuff in the press release, and then said even more face-palm stuff in his interview.

I watched part of a podcast today where the host said that last week, before the Panthers game, Gayle asked some players if the locker room was lost and the response was that it had BEEN lost.

Can someone tell me EXACTLY what happened for DA to lose the locker room? Like was there a particular moment, game, event, practice, flight, etc... where the players are like, man screw this guy?

Former Saint, James Hurst believes Allen lost the team after he took them to task for the Williams TD from victory formation at the end of the Atlanta game last season.

Apparently that’s when players started chattering amongst themselves.

Please for the love of god, Gayle. Do not let Loomis touch this team any longer after the season. That was freaking painful to listen to. Thanos snap his football operation privileges when the season concludes. I don't care what you gotta do, kick him up, force his retire, holy moly.

I'd send drug testing agents to the facility tomorrow to drug test him if I was at the league office.
