Saints making strongest push for Anquan Boldin??? (1 Viewer)

Until Rob Ryan we had a long history of bringing in vets and making them all stars just ask shockey, sproles, vilma, sharper and watson.

Add McKenzie and Hightower. We have good and bad luck. As long as we don't over pay, I'm all for it.

Nobody can get them all correct, all the time..........yeah, we had a rough stretch the last 2 seasons with the Champ, Browner and Goodwin signings.......but for some people to act like it's our "thing" and a mistake that we consistently repeat.....that's a farce. Both Champ Bailey and Browner were starting CBs for teams in the Super Bowl immediately before coming here, and Goodwin had been the Center not only for us, but also a Frisco team that had just went to 3 consecutive NFC title games.

The real issue is risk of injury.

Boldin played through a hamstring nearly all of 2015.

He will get less targets here because we spread the ball around much more. Even so, his worst career season was 600+ yards. If he gives us 600 yards we will be fine.

If someone posted Ingram's tweet sorry I missed it.

He would immediately be the most physical presence on the WR corps. Helps to have a guy who is fearless over the middle and can make the tough grab in traffic, thats a red zone dream for Drew. 40 times dont mean jack in the red zone or in steadily moving chains, I am all for it

Man I'd hate it if we signed a pro bowler at the veteran minimum. That would just suck.

This exactly. If Bolden can produce for Flacco and Kaepabbert...Id bet he can produce with Brees. And even if he doesn't...we aren't talking about a Jarius Byrd type of contract.

This would be great!!! We lose a 2016 Walter Payton nominee in Watson and bring in the winner Boldin... He did well last year considering the 49ers Offence was complete rubbish.

I would love this signing.

I am down with this sighning. I have always had a lot of respect for Boldins game. The man is a professional. The man is a legit threat, will draw coverage, and that in and of itself is valuable. You have to respect his ability to make a play. Left unchecked he will.

Yes to Boldin. Perfect fit for him at this time of his career.
