Should have kept Jameis

I watched a lot of the game. The Ravens dropped three terrible throws from Winston that should have been picked.
In watching that game, you also saw the Browns drop the same type of throws from the MVP front runner. Jackson should have had about 3 or 3 interceptions himself that people are going to gloss over being "hey, it's Lamar Jackson."

Outside of those 3 terrible throws (they were BAD), what else did you see?

See how this ages after JW next start or two.
Crazy thing is this was probably his first week getting first team reps, so he is probably going to end up getting better as the season goes.

Nah. It was best for him and the Saints that he moved on. Great teammate, though, and I don't think anyone can deny that.
Agreed. As long as DA is the captain of the ship, it was never going to work out. At the end of the day,

Did you see the play BEFORE he threw the game winning td?
This. It was the full Jameis Winston Experience in two consecutive plays.
  • airmailed throw over his receiver straight to the safety despite having a clean pocket
  • huge bomb for a late lead changing TD
He can make some amazing throws, but will make just as many boneheaded throws as well.

There's a lot of "oh the Browns' defense dropped multiple Lamar Jackson's potential INT's in that game too" but fail to acknowledge that Jackson's errant, near INT's were at the following times:
  • 10:15 left in the 1st quarter, Ravens didn't even score this drive and turned the ball over on downs anyway
  • 9:32 left in the 2nd quarter, Ravens again didn't score on the drive and punted the next play
They weren't with the Browns trailing with the game on the line and roughly a minute left like the one above specifically; the Ravens had a lot of football ahead of them had the Browns secured those interceptions and they only scored a combined 6 points off those drives anyway.

And if we're talking about dropped interceptions, why not include the pass from Jackson that Bateman lost in the sun and hit him directly in the face? Would've been at minimum a 50-yd reception (putting the Ravens in position to tie the game at worst) or quite possibly an 85-yd TD and taking a 24-20 lead by making one defender miss because he was wide open.

If we apply context for one, let's do it for all.

Or the play where #19 got thrown to a perfect spot and he lost the ball in the sun which could have been a huge gain.

That pass at the end was bad but at the end of the day, even when gifted with a dropped interception, they still had to execute. If Lamar Jackson threw that same pass and then followed with a perfectly thrown TD, everyone would be talking about his resilience. lol. Some things are magnified for some and swept under the rug for others.

God's Plan™ continuing to work in Jameis's favor. :ROFLMAO:
Crazy thing is we gotta play against that man in a few weeks, after a few weeks of 1st team reps, while we are losing our minds defensively...lol. It will be a interesting game.

It was my understanding that it was Jameis' desire to leave because he wanted the chance to be a starter.

I think he was going to be gone a year earlier. The only reason we had him last year was because he couldn't pass a physical in the offseason and we were going to have dead money letting him go. We worked a deal where we kept him for less than it would've cost us to let him go and he got more money that way than he would have on the open market.

Because he won today? He threw 3 picks that were easy picks, one was the easiest you’ll ever see. Albeit they were all on the opening drive. They were all dropped bc that’s what the Ravens do this season (lead the league in dropped picks). He did play decent after
So thats 6 dropped picks? Cause he had 3 in the second half. I missed the first half.

LMAO, apparently according to some here, Jameis can't even win a game correctly.....Dropped INT's happen all the time, the other MVP QB he played against had some passes that should have been INT's as well (and what is this garbage about "situational" INT's.....hilarious)......

Also, if JW wins this week I think Infoman will blow a gasket!!!!!

When spencer rattler throws a dropped pick on the second play of the game... we call that out too.
