Spoiler Spoiler Thread: Avengers Infinity War (2 Viewers)

So, forgive me since I was not a huge comic book guy growing up but, is it not unreasonable to think that Thanos is actually stronger than Hulk? Or at least this movie version of Hulk? I mean he did beat the you-know-what out of him rather easily. Or is that basically blasphemy?

As a fan of the movies but not someone who has in-depth knowledge of the comics, I did assume during the movie that Hulk got destroyed by Thanos and just didn't want to come out and play anymore. Whether it was fear or pride I wasn't sure, but I thought that beat down was what was keeping him at bay, not some frustration with Banner and his role.

I know thats not what the above link says, that was just the read I got as a lay-person watching...

I think Thanos was clearly stronger than Hulk in that situation. I also thought Hulk was scared to come out, that beat down was just so quick, but I guess I was wrong. I usually am when it comes to these movies.

I tend to think it's more a matter of Banner and Hulk not being on the same page. The process of Banner exerting more influence over Hulk's actions and fighting for control has long been a part of the story of Hulk's growth as a character.

Here's everything we know about the title to Avengers 4. It wasn't spoken in Infinity War. It's a spoiler for Infinity War. It should scare us. And the last one is that the closest anyone has gotten is Avengers: Forever. Based off of this knowledge I propose that the title is similar in concept to forever. I just haven't been able to think of something that would scare us and be a spoiler to IW while being related to the concept of forever. But I do believe that this is the best way to figure out the title.

“I don’t think there are any comics that correlate to it. I think we’re in pretty fresh territory with Avengers 4. If anything, I think it’s interesting after to go back and look at some of the Marvel films and view them through a different lens. But I can’t think of any comics in particular that would have value.”

Fresh territory..

Avengers: No Dessert for you, now go to your room.

Saw it again this weekend. It’s definitely better the second time.

Yes. My second viewing gave me the opportunity to appreciate all that I missed from the first.

As far as a title goes, Avengers Finale

"It's the end of the path I started us on". Tony and Cap will make the ultimate sacrifice.

Avengers-- the Search for More Money.
