A digital copy comes with the BD? How does that work?
It's a slip of paper with a code that you can renew. A lot of times, you'll get to choose where to renew: VUDU, Google Video, iTunes, Amazon Video, Disney/Movies Anywhere, etc. Most Blu-rays come with digital codes! Go through you collection, pull all the slips, then sit down with a beer and cash 'em all in.

So on one of the extras one of the Russos state that Thanos permanently damaged the Gauntlet and himself when he did the snap. And since I just got the 4K and am able to really look at it the Gauntlet looks totally messed up. He was still able to use it to teleport away but I bet no one could undo the snap with it, even Thanos if he wanted to, which he wouldn't.
I noticed the Gauntlet was messed up in the theater, last night I noticed that his left arm and side were still messed up after he teleported away, but the wound in his chest seemed healed.

Also, he teleported away so that must mean he was still able to use the stones, right?

I think he can use them to a lesser degree, just not combined like with the snap. He did hold the stones individually.

I've never actually bought a Bluray, so that's new to me. I always watch with Netflix. I'm intrigued though.

This is a picture I saw on Reddit that someone pulled from the digital copy and it shows what they say is the time stone glowing which allows Thanos to pull the axe from his chest. I can see the slight glow, and if that's right it's a pretty neat little detail I missed. Not sure how big this picture will show up, so sorry if it's huge.

I didn't realize the Gauntlet was as jacked up as it is in that picture. It seems like this would be the weakened state that would need to happen in order to have a chance to stop Thanos. Interesting.

You mean on his chest by the axe? That's actually pretty subtle - I was about to say the stone isn't even in that picture.

That's right. Same thing when I first saw it. the level of detail is amazing.

If he used the time stone to reverse the damage from the axe then it would have reversed the damaged to the gauntlet and himself as well.

I always felt that the Thanos we saw at the end of the film wasn't the "actual" Thanos. I felt that the idea that he would "sit and watch the sun rise over a grateful universe" was not literal. That would be too damn cheesy it seems and not very "Russo". He took way too much damage to his body to walk away unscathed like that, even with the Infinity Stones IMO. I feel that there is something else at work there. Perhaps in some suspended state, alternate reality or realm, dram state, etc.

Ah man... That was a good movie. Quill screwed the pooch on this one. They had it...

maybe he took himself out with the snap...

when keeping it real goes wrong!
