Honestly Carr is not a long term solution. We should try to go after a free agent QB in the off-season. Would you trade two firsts for Joe Burrow if he requests to leave after he possibly loses to Baltimore twice again and misses the playoffs? Or how about Trevor Lawrence?

Lawrence is no better than Carr and probably worse. And Cicny isn't going to trade Burrow. He's their entire team and marketing department. I also doubt there is going to be a free agent QB out there that is better than Carr. He's not great, but he's a solid mid-level QB that can play above that level at times and is good enough to win with the right team around him.

They just need to keep developing Rattler and Haener in hopes that one turns into a good starter and keep looking for QBs in the draft. Carr is currently the least of our problems, but sure we would like to have a better QB in the future.

We’re actually lucky he was a free agent. He’s 33 years old. It’s not like we’re going to sign him to a 10 year extension. He’s our QB this year and next year. We need to hope that in that time Rattler develops. Otherwise we have to start looking at the draft.

I mean yeah we need weapons and more OL. Olave/Shaheed could be upgraded or Johnson needs to be replaced. I'm not high on Johnson who is not even better than the TE who shall not be named was.
