Dave Filoni and John Favreau are too smart for that.
I wouldn't be too sure about that. I only got through the first 2 and any half seasons of The Clone Wars(something I need to rectify), and there were more than a couple of Jar Jar centric episodes. I know that show was geared toward kids, but Filoni didn't seem too spiteful toward the character when discussing TPM during one of The Gallery episodes.Dave Filoni and John Favreau are too smart for that.
Filoni has a fetish for fixing Lucas’s overreaches - I could definitely see him trying a jar jar redemptionDave Filoni and John Favreau are too smart for that.
ugh. vent time. that strikes a nerve.

canon is probably the new most overused "term". seriously, anything, including smelling my dog's farts, can be called canon. yes, please judge my dog for being a dog.
not entirely sure about the true meaning behind the origin, but in society, it is definitely becoming a favourite for word of the month, year, etc.
for fork sakes people, research before making a post, or more importantly don't, on twitter, instagram, tiktok, twitter, whatever, ignore.
The one I hate is epic. People use that word because they got the parking spot right in front of the store. That's not epic.
"Canon" has been in use to mean part of the official lore of a universe for decades. I first heard it in the mid 90s on Star Wars newsgroups, so it's certainly older than that.

In a statement obtained by io9, a Lucasfilm spokesperson said the following: “Gina Carano is not currently employed by Lucasfilm and there are no plans for her to be in the future. Nevertheless, her social media posts denigrating people based on their cultural and religious identities are abhorrent and unacceptable.”
The news comes after a day in which the hashtag #FireGinaCarano trended on Twitter for hours. The night before, the actress shared an anti-Semitic story on her Instagram. It was soon deleted but many fans captured it and shared it on social media.
That, of course, came after months of complaints about Carano’s online presence, including mocking covid mask mandates, spreading conspiracies about the United States election, liking posts disparaging the Black Lives Matter movement, and deriding pronoun usage.
This is really dumb. All the women on the show have such strong solidarity with each other too.
I guess Disney feels threatened by strong independent opinionated women.
