Mythosaur is a really generic name for a monster. It's the unobtanium of animals, I guess. Like I hope they never have to fight the Legendopotamus.
Haha, "Legendopotamus" would definitely be an interesting creature. But yeah, the name Mythosaur might not be the most creative, but it is a significant part of Mandalorian lore and history. It's possible that in-universe, the name has more cultural significance than the actual sound of it.

I had totally forgotten that! But how do we know that Bo-Katan knows that what she saw is the mythosaur? Perhaps that's a stupid question because she's Mandalorian royalty. I guess I'm asking if she specifically has referenced mythosaurs during the show and if I had missed it.

the mythosaur skull is one of the symbols of Mandalorians, so I'd assume even if she never saw one in the flesh she would recognize it. But even beyond that i think its been shown to have been depicted in art and things like that.

Right, but I could see an elephant at the zoo and still not know that this was an elephant.

I like that they're giving that Jar Jar dude a redemptive role. Sounds like that guy had a rough go from the neckbeards back in the 90s or whatever. Have any other Star Wars actors played different characters over different generations of movies? I think Star Trek's done it a few times (Tuvok actor and Michael Dorn as a couple), but I don't remember it for Star Wars.

Bo-Katan's friends asking her where's she's been...

Enjoyed this one a lot.

Bringing Kelleren Beq from Jedi Temple Challenge to actual canon is pretty wild, but I'm happy Ahmed Best got a big hero moment. Jar-Jar was obviously terrible but he never deserved the hate that got thrown his way as a performer and it apparently took him to some dark places. Glad he got to be a badass here.

This Bo-Katan story is not going how I anticipated, but I like it. So far, she's buying into the Children of the Watch. It's like it's reactivated her Mandalorian pride. I absolutely thought her and The Armorer would be throwing insults at each other but instead she's actually learning from her to some extent. Very interesting.

How many Mandalorian youth did that bird thing eat?

So what's the deal with the helmets? Are they allowed to remove their helmet so long as no one sees it? Or is it supposed to never be removed? I forget the rules.

They can remove their helmets, but only if they are not in the presence of anyone.
