Later in season 4...

but seriously I'm thinking that clone that opened their eyes survived and we will get new and improved Moff Gideon 2.0 now with 100% more Force powers!

Are you pitching us Rise of Skywalker only insert Gideon for Palpatine and Mando for Rey? ;)

I don't think I've ever been critical of this show but this finale was a missed opportunity. It could've been so much better. I'm not disappointed, maybe a little surprised. Having said that, there is a lot to like about this episode. The jetpack battle was pretty cool. Nice to see those mini knee rockets again. When Mando officially adopts Grogu, that had me feeling some kind of way. It had some cool moments but overall it was a let down for me. The final showdown with Moff Gideon and the Praetorian Guards just fell flat for me.
That's how I feel about the whole season.

Picard has been so much better than Mando this season, it's not even close. I almost put the episode off so that I could watch both back to back. Boy, am I glad I didn't do that.

I just felt that it was a little underwhelming. There was no Mandalorian traitor. No real intrigue. It's like Filoni just moved on past this show to prepare for Ahsoka and the movie.

Just finished viewing. Honestly was a bit of a letdown for me. A bit too “basic.” Happy ending, good guys win, bad guys lose, no big cliff hanger.
Also, no reveal on a potential spy. And it was barely over 30 minutes long! I'm tired of the excuses, shows used to have over 22 episode seasons at 45 minutes each, don't tell me they can't make an 8 episode show 45 minutes each.

Was also hoping for a bigger payoff to the clones in those tanks they have been so mysterious about, not to mention a resolution to that whole subplot with the scientist that they randomly threw into the middle of a season and never really revisited.

And why did Moff Gideon have a destroy all the tanks option? And why did he let them do that? He knew where they were going, so why let them go through there and destroy it without a fight?

Agreed, all the Ted Lasso episodes have all been between like 45-65 minutes this season.

And another thing…why does Grogu press the “no” button instead of just shooting the Imperial guards (or whatever the hell we call those guards these days) that were defeating Mando?

Did he have a gun? I don't remember him having a weapon. I did like how he was laughing while he was flipping around.

And why did Moff take his helmet off? He puts it on saying he'll deal with them and then the next time you see him, he's holding his helmet.
Yeah. I guess they just like having him Un helmeted so his speech's have a little more emotion when you can see their faces, honestly not letting Djarin take his helmet off is kind of frustrating when you have an actor like Pedro who's so good with his facial expressions constantly hidden.

While we are at it why did Axe Woves crash into the base? I mean wouldn't that be kind of nice to keep? They've never had an issue stealing and using Empire tech before. That was alot of free Ti fighters and what not you just blew up for no reason.

One thing I did like about this episode is you didn't have any one swoop in to "save the day" no Bobba, no Ahsoka no Skywalker. Just Mandalorians taking out the Empire on their own which was nice because it showed how powerful mando's can be.
